Mohammad Mithun (Sylhet Strikers Captain): "Yeah, a win is always a win and it gives us happiness. We did well and won 5 games and lost 7 this season. Our bowlers did well for us in the tournament. I think batting was not up to the mark for us this season. We don't know whether we will be playing for the same team but will look to do good."
Benny Howell (Player of the Match)- "I am pretty pleased with the bowling performance and I am going home happy. Specially today we tried to bowl in right areas to keep the boundaries restricted and then we stopped the short runs and that has paid off. I am happy that I have contributed to the team."

Anamul Haque Bijoy (Khulna Tigers Captain)- "Definitely we needed 20 more runs to give a fight back. The wicket was a bit tricky and I think the conditions got better in the later half. Afif batted well but 130 was not enough. As a management member, it becomes tough to choose the perfect playing eleven. We struggled there in the last 6-7 games. If we get the same management next year, hopefully our executions will be better."

Opting to bowl first, the Strikers were excellent with the ball and restricted the Tigers to just 128. Their bowlers were economical and picked up wickets at regular intervals. Benny Howell was the pick of the bowlers for them and he ended with the figures of 3/15. Tanzim Hasan Shakib and Shafiqul Islam also bowled well and picked up 2 wickets each.
For Tigers, they were good in the powerplay but lost their way after that. Afif Hossain was brilliant at the top and scored 52 off just 35 balls. None of the other batters got going after his dismissal. Parnell did play a good little cameo of 21 lower down the order.
Coming to the chase, the Strikers did not really start well and lost their openers pretty quickly but Najmul Hossain Shanto (39) and Yasir Ali (46) steadied the ship and built up a solid partnership and were also the pick of the batters. For Tigers, Nahidul Islam and Wayne Parnell bowled well in the powerplay and picked up a wicket each but were poor in the backend. Stay tuned for the presentations.
