Player of the Match (Harry Tector): "Yea it feels like every game we play vs Zimbabwe goes to the last over. I think it was something we spoke of as middle order batters that we have to form good partnerships. Happy with how we did there today but disappointed that I got out. Umm no I am happy at number 4. Our top three have been good for a long time now."
Paul Stirling (Ireland Captain): "Yeah, it's been really nice to get over the line. It's something we've discussed numerous times and just. I think there's a pretty good feeling amongst the team in the changing room when you get past that. Yeah, that was a really mature partnership by those two batters. I think that was a real sign of their maturity over the last couple of years, culminating in that today was an exceptional partnership.
Yeah, I think that's a really important thing. There's no real excuse for our field not being up to a high standard. It's something we have discussed a lot and I think we really have to bring it tomorrow and show that we're not as bad as we it today."
Ryan Burl on behalf of Sean Williams (Zimbabwe Captain): "Yea just one of those things, guys have been facing niggles recently. The wicket was a bit slow, the batting did well initially but with wickets falling in clusters, we were probably 15-20 runs short. Kamunhukamwe is coming in with good form playing in the domestic league so it's good to see him do well. The bowlers did well but we did not give them enough runs to defend. Yeah, giving Bennet the ball in the middle was surely the turning point as it gave us a bit of a chance to pull things back."

8:00 PM IST, 4:30 PM Local Time | Deepak: Another last-over thriller in the Zimbabwe vs Ireland series, and this time the visitors, Ireland held their nerve and win this match by 4 wickets with 2 balls to spare, leveling the series and forcing it into the decider.
Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Zimbabwe lost Wessly Madhevere for 9 runs, while Tadiwanashe Marumani failed to open his account. Despite losing a couple of quick wickets,
Tinashe Kamunhukamwe and Sean Williams scored at a brisk pace. However, Curtis Campher trapped Williams for 17 runs and ceased the partnership. Kamunhukamwe contributed 39 runs off 27 balls.
Ryan Burl and Clive Madande took responsibility for scoring in the latter half of the innings, and the duo played at a decent pace to keep the scoreboard ticking and shifted gears at the cue end of the innings. Burl remained unbeaten on 38 runs, while Madande remained unbeaten on 44 runs, helping their side post a decent 165/5 in 20 overs.
Mark Adair bagged a couple of wickets for Ireland, while Craig Young, Gareth Delany, and Curtis Campher celebrated a solitary wicket.
In pursuit of 165 runs, Andrew Balbirnie and Paul Stirling struggled to time the ball and departed cheaply inside the powerplay. Lorcan Tucker and Harry Tector started building the partnership in the middle, but their progress was abruptly halted by Trevor Gwandu, who trapped Tucker for run-a-ball 12 runs and bagged his maiden T20I wicket.
Curtis Campher joined Tector in the middle, and the duo steadied the ship, scoring at a decent pace. Zimbabwe struggled to break this partnership as the partnership moved over 50 runs, and eventually, Brian Bennett trapped Campher for 37 runs and ceased the 60+ run partnership. Campher was soon followed by Tector, who was clean-bowled by a peach of a delivery from Ngarava, falling just 2 runs shy of his fifty.
George Dockrell and Mark Adair played a crucial knock at the cue end of the innings and didn't let the match slip away from them. The equation was reduced to 7 runs off the final over, and Jongwe extracted the wicket of Adair in the first ball of the final over and injected some thrill into the match. However, Dockrell held his nerve and sealed the deal for the visitors with a boundary on the 4th ball of the over.

2 THAT'S BEEN DROPPED! Short of a full-length delivery outside off. Dockrell fetches for it and carves this uppishly to deep cover. The sweeper in the deep comes running in, slides and gets a hand to it but grasses the ball. Dockrell manages to steal two runs and keeps the strike.
