Time to wrap up our coverage from the Qualifier 1 game of the ILT20 of this edition. MI Emirates have booked their spot in the grand finale and the Gulf Giants will appear for another opportunity to make it to the final.

For now this is the trio of Saptak Sanyal(2nd innings), Sourya Chowdhury and Hitesh Peddurwar(1st innings) signing off alongside our scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Good night
Akeal Hosein, man of the match: "We have to do what we have to do. So used to getting tired. Busy life for us nowadays. I try to do as much recovery on off days because the games and tournaments come thick and fast. Yes the pitch offered turn from the beginning and I decided to go with it."
Player of the Match- Akeal Hosein
Nicholas Pooran (MI Emirates Captain)- "I am very happy with the performance. We were expected to play the finals and we did well as a team and we have made it. Akeal was brilliant for us tonight. He is stepping up in every games almost when he is getting the opportunity. It is nice to see the experienced players contributing. You can;t buy experience and guys like Bravo, Kieron have played a lot of T20 games and they have done tremendous for us. We have three quality spinners in our line-up and they are delivering at the right time together."
James Vince, Gulf Giants captain: "Disappointing performance. Completely outplayed. Did get some early wickets. We did realise that the pitch will be slow and help spinners. Became tough to get our spinners into the game because of the left-right combination. We were sloppy on the field and batted poorly as well. Cannot dwell on this loss and move on for tomorrow. Conditions did not change too much so toss maybe was not a big factor.
Biggest six of the game- Chris Jordan(91 meter)
Time for the post match presentations.
23:35 IST and 22:05 Local Time | The MI Emirates are the first finalists of this edition of ILT20. They are coming out with flying colours against the Gulf Giants. The margin of the victory is 45 runs!

Batting first in this game, MI Emirates batted well in the start as Kusal Perera and Muhammad Waseem gave them a good start. But setback came when Waseem(12) and Fletcher (0) got out cheaply. Perera scored 22 before his departure. Nicholas Pooran scored 36 off 28 balls and he was the top scorer for the MI Emirates. Tim David(29), Dwayne Bravo(30) and Kieron Pollard (27*) contributed for the team and they boarded 163 runs losing 7 wickets after the 20th over.

Daniel Worrall was the star of the bowling picking up 3 wickets for just 15 runs. Blessing Muzarabani took a couple of wickets and Zohaib Zubair took one wicket.

Coming to chase the target, the Gulf Giants lost James Vince in the first ball of the innings bowled by Akeal Hosein.  The other opener Jordan Cox departed for 1. The impact-sub Chris Lynn batted for 19 balls and scored just 18 runs. After his dismissal, only Jamie Smith(10) showed some resistance with Usman Khan and no other batter scored double digit score in the lower middle order. Hetmyer(7), Overton(5) and Dawson(8) got out for cheap scores. Usman Khan got out scoring 26. After Usman's dismissal, Chris Jordan swung his bat and added 31 runs rapidly off 15 balls hitting 2 boundaries and 3 maximums. In the end, the Gulf Giants got wrapped up for just 118 in 18.2 overs an they will have to appear for the Qualifier 2 tomorrow against the Dubai Capitals.

Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, the impact sub replacing Kusal Perera, took 3 wickets. Two left arm spinners, Akeal Hosein and Waqar Salamkheil took a couple of wickets. Rohid Khan and Dwayne Bravo took a wicket each for the MI Emirates. It was a complete team effort that helped the MI Emirates to book the ticket of the final.
18.2 W Salamkheil to D Worrall
W OUT! And it's over. Pitched up on middle, Worrall goes for the slog in desperation, does not time it at all, and Waseem will take a neat catch running in at deep mid-wicket. MIE deservedly win this by a huge margin.
18.1 W Salamkheil to D Worrall
0 Short and wide of off, hit back to the bowler hard, and Salamkheil drops it off his own bowling.
