That's it. Thank you for joining us! On behalf of my co-commentators Akshay and Deepak, and scorer Ashok, I, Sidharth, say goodbye! Cheers!
Nathan Sowter (Player of the Match): "The ball was staying a bit low. I decided to drag the lengths back. Luckily, I got the rewards. Not a great season for us. But I've enjoyed a lot. I would like to keep things quite simple, trying to keep it match-specific and carry on with that."
Nathan Sowter is the Player of the Match
Colin Munro (Desert Vipers Skipper): "An up and down season. We didn't play good enough cricket throughout the season. We weren't at our best. We got the better of the conditions. We'll celebrate this victory."
Tom Kohler-Cadmore (Sharjah Warriors Skipper): "We have had a lot of highs and lows. We are kind of expected to be where we are. We will look at the positives and return stronger next year. It's all about learnings in cricket. Cricket's a game of small margins. Had a couple of matches gone in our favour, things could have been different."
00:23 AM IST and 22:53 Local Time | That's it. Desert Vipers win by six wickets. Sharjah Warriors are eliminated, and Dubai Capitals are through to the playoffs.

Chasing a target of 122, Phil Salt and Alex Hales got Desert Vipers off to a flying start and put them in a dominant position in the mandatory powerplay itself. While Desert Vipers lost three wickets in quick time, Sharjah Warriors’ 121 was never going to be threatening. Colin Munro and Dinesh Chandimal then helped Desert Vipers seal the deal with 31 balls remaining. With the victory, Desert Vipers finished fifth on the points table while Sharjah Warriors were handed the wooden spoon.

Earlier, after being asked to bat, Sharjah Warriors could only manage 121/9 in 18 overs. The overs were reduced due to rain. Luke Wells top-scored for Sharjah Warriors with 31. For Desert Vipers, Nathan Sowter and Matheesha Pathirana grabbed three wickets each.
