Player Bio

Born in New South Wales, Australia, Nathan Sowter is a right-arm leg-break bowler.

He made his List-A debut for Middlesex against Kent in 2015 and since then has been a regular part of the club. In his debut match, Sowter picked up 2 wickets for 2 runs and announced his arrival in some style.

He made his first class debut for Middlesex in the 2017 County Championship.

The leg spinner has represented the New South Wales under-23 team and Australia sees a potential future superstar in him.

He was roped in by the Oval Invincibles for the inaugural season of the Hundreds.

Sowter is one of the key members for Middlesex in the shortest form of the game, but when it comes to the red ball cricket, he is yet to make a mark.
