Milestone
That's it from this game of CPL 2023. We will be back tomorrow morning for the next CPL game between Barbados Royals up against St. Lucia Kings. Do join us for that game and for all other fixtures across the globe, stay tuned to our network for all the action.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal alongside scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Imran Tahir (Guyana Amazon Warriors Captain): "Thanks to everyone for supporting us always. The crowd support has been massive today. It's very satisfying. Dwaine and Romario is giving us starts and I am proud of that. There are areas to improve. Yes, we are doing well but losing wickets sometimes quickly. Want the top order to fire more. Enjoying my new role. Good team and very disciplined and it is easy for me to lead them as they follow the process. We have depth in batting and it is working well for us. Hope to continue winning."
Evin Lewis(St Kitts & Nevis Patriots Captain):- "To be honest we started well with the ball but ended up giving too much runs. Basically Dominic has been good for us so I trusted him with the last over. It was not a very tough wicket to bat on but somehow we failed to execute our best here today. We made the changes as we tried to bring out the best combination out of our squad. Hopefully we will do better tomorrow in our next game."
Guyana Amazon Warriors players are thanking the crowd for the support here at Barbados.
Dwaine Pretorius(Player of the match):- "Teammates told me that I will see the support and I just loved the crowd support. I came in at the 14th over and the intention was to play good shots. We backed ourselves to get over 170 and hit good shots. I wanted to exploit the swing and wanted to hit the right length and it was my day. The previous day was Romario's(Shepherd). I hope together we will bowl more good new ball spells. My captain backed me very nicely."
10:47 PM IST, 1:17 PM Local Time: That's the end of the game and a comprehensive win for Guyana Amazon Warriors as they dispose of a hapless St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots side by 98 runs. This is the second biggest win in CPL history as the Warriors outplayed their opponents in all facets of the game and were truly the better side in the end of the day.

The Patriots were never really in the chase of 187 as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Andre Fletcher made 11, George Linde made 13. Corbin Bosch top scored with 27 off 27 balls. Yannic Cariah scored 13 off 16 balls. The rest of the batters could not enter double figures as they were bowled out for 88 in 17.1 overs. 3 extras were given by the fielding side.

The bowling was disciplined and fantastic from the Warriors. Dwaine Pretorius was the pick of the bowlers with 3/17 in 3 overs. Gudakesh Motie picked up a couple of wickets for 15 runs in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Romario Shepherd, Junior Sinclair, and Saim Ayub. There were a few run outs to add misery to the Patriots.

Earlier in the game, the Warriors were invited to bat first by St, Kitts & Nevis Patriots. Hazratullah Zazai went early. Saim Ayub scored a quickfire 21 off 13 balls. Shai Hope scored 13 off 11 balls. Shimron Hetmyer scored a valuable 36 off 22 balls. Keemo Paul played a responsible knock and top scored with 41* off 31 balls. Dwaine Pretorius chipped in with a valuable 27 off 20 balls. Romario Shepherd came late and finished things off in style with an enterprising 26* off 7 balls. 9 extras were given by the fielding side as they ended with 186/6 in 20 overs.

Oshane Thomas was the pick of the bowlers for the Patriots finishing with figures of 3/26 in 3 overs. A wicket apiece for Corbin Bosch, George Linde, and Dominic Drakes who went the distance in his final over. It was another miserable day for the Patriots as they remain winless while the Warriors go top of the points table.

So, a comprehensive win for Guyana Amazon Warriors by 98 runs to go top of the points table and stay unbeaten, while Patriots remain winless and at the bottom. Stick around for the presentations.
TV umpire will check this and yes, Oshane Thomas is run out here. OUT is the call.
17.1 I Tahir to D Drakes
W That's the game!!!! Length ball, turning to middle stump after pitching to off stump. Drakes pushed it to off side, away from cover-point fielder who ran to his left to collect the ball. Thomas was running to keeper's end and fielder threw exactly there and Azam Khan disturbed the bails in a flash to mark a 98 run win for his team.

16.1 Sinclair to J Layne
W Nineth wicket is down now!!! Sinclair kept it short, in the middle. Layne stood on his backfoot and pulled it with an intention of clearing cow corner boundary. The long on fielder, Dwayne Pretorius ran to the ball and took an excellent diving catch there.
