Umar Amim (Skipper Northern ): "Exshatued today. Both batting and bowling are balanced I can't give credit to anyone and we come back from 111-0 to 182 great bowling efforts from the bowlers as well as a great catch in the middle. We lost 2 wickets early and my plan was to stable the match and off-spinner Agha Salman came to bowl then I go for the big in that over. Aamir Jamal performing well in the last 2-3 games that was good sign for the team"
Salman Ali Agha (Skipper Southern Punjab): " As we played through the 10 overs the run chase became easy for us but we made a lot of mistakes that cost us the match. We were unable to do well in death overs in batting and bowling both and we will try to improve these in the next matches."
Player of the match ( Aamar Jamal ): "We are thinking to set a target is 160 and above that we defend. But we reached 187 which is a good total then we decided to avoid the mistake and we had done 2-3 mistakes. I want to play more games in the future and with 1-2 performances are not enough and want to improve more"

Deepak: That concludes the 14th Pakistan T-20 match between Northern and Southern Punjab. Northern thumped Southern Punjab by 5 runs. What a wonderful comeback by Northern after the first 10 overs and won the match too as they were unable to take any wickets in the first 10 overs but in the end, they snatched the victory from the mouth of Southern Punjab.
Earlier Northern scored 187 runs at the loss of 8 wickets. We have witnessed a blasting inning from Northern after losing quick wickets at the beginning of the inning.
Southern Punjab came out to chase down 188 runs and they started their inning with all guns blazing as they were able to score 111 runs for the first wicket. Muhammad Shahzad and Zain Abbas took the bowlers on remand from the very first over of the inning. Shahzad departed scoring 28 runs off 24 balls. Zain Abbas departed scoring brilliant 81 runs off 46 balls.
Southern Punjab started losing wickets in quick succession and they lost 4 wickets in 16 runs interval. Northern bowled really well after the powerplay and bring themselves back into the game.
Mohammad Imran Randhawa took the charge of batting in the middle but departed scoring quick 24 runs off 12 balls. Southern Punjab kept losing wickets at regular intervals and was bundled at 182 runs.
On the other hand, Zaman Khan and Aamer Jamal shared 3 wickets each, and Sohail Tanvir picked up a couple of wickets for Northern.

W ALL OUT!!! Fuller length delivery on the off stump line, Akram shuffles across and goes for a scoop shot but not a good connect with bat and the ball in the air and the simple catch was taken by Tanvir at short fine leg region. Southern Punjab are bundled out at 182 runs in 19.5 overs. Northern win this match by 5 runs and register their second win in this competition.
