Player Bio

A powerful hitter and a skilful bowler, Aamer Jamal is a regular feature for the Northern team in domestic cricket.

He made his First-Class debut for Pakistan Television in September 2018 and took a total of six wickets. Jamal’s List-A debut in the same month witnessed him taking three wickets.

The Rawalpindi-born was one of the 15 backup players in the 2021-22 edition of the Pakistan Super League. However, he didn't feature in any of the games. In the 2022 edition of Kashmir Premier League, the talented pacer scalped six wickets in three appearances at an economy of 9.60.

Soon, the 26-year-old grabbed headlines by emerging as the best all-round performer for the Northern team in the National T20 Cup. He slammed 165 runs and also took nine wickets in eight games at an economy of 8.53.

The consistent performances earned Jamal a place in the Pakistan squad for the T20 World Cup 2022 slated to be played in October.
