Thanks for joining us for the live coverage of the game between the New Zealand and Netherlands. This was Saurabh Saket alongside Badal Pareek and Ovaise Shariff with our scorer/analyst Ashok. Stay updated as we bring you live scores from all across the globe.
Pieter Seelaar | Skipper Netherlands: "We executed our plans pretty well, but with a guy like Latham batting like that, can't help it. The wicket was a bit tacky, but they were fantastic. We couldn't put it together throughout the game. You got to admit they are world class players. Latham played a captain's knock. That mistake with three fielders inside the ring, cost us. Made a difference between 230-260. Ish Sodhi changed the game around, they bowled pretty well. We took wickets and put them under pressure. But Latham is a quality batsman, unfortunately we couldn't finish it off. We had them on the ropes."
Tom Latham | Player of the Match | Skipper New Zealand: "It's nice to cap it off with a win like that. It was nice to bat through the innings and set a good score. We needed to bat 50 overs, and I managed to have a couple of partnerships. He came in and struck the ball well, we didn't adapt in the first 20 overs. We bowled well though. I sometimes think you get in that mode. We were in a bit of trouble today, but managed to pull things towards the end of the overs. The spinners bowled beautifully, Ish in the first 20 overs and Bracewell towards the end. We need to adapt and try to work out a way. Hopefully we finish on a high note."

Ovaise: New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first, Netherlands got off to a magnificent start picking up early wickets. The top order was blown away by the Dutch pacers. Van Beek and Klaassen tore through the top order, Guptill, Ross Taylor and Will Young the centurion from the previous encounter failed to contribute. Nicholls too was dismissed cheaply on 19. Bracewell was sent back by a peach from Klaassen which git big on him. New Zealand in no time were reduced to 32-5 and looked in deep trouble.

Tom Latham walked in and looked solid as he ever does, played on the merit of the delivery, started off slowly but soon picked up the scoring rate, he was briefly supported by Grandhomme but in the 23rd over, he too was dismissed. The black caps were 89-6 when Bracewell joined Latham in the middle and the pair stitched up a brilliant partnership and helped New Zealand get to a formidable score.
The Birthday boy looked unstoppable after he got to his 100, and accelerated towards the end to get took New Zealand to 264 which was looking impossible at one stage. He ended with a mammoth 140 of just 123 ball, which included 10 fours and 5 sixers.

Netherland came out to bat on a pitch that had become slightly better to bat on with the lights on, but the New Zealand bowlers had plans of their own and executed them very well, They hit excellent line and length and got rewarded with 2 early wickets. The men in orange were 2 down with just 4 runs on the board and having played just 7 deliveries.

Singh and Leede stitched a partnership that looked quite solid, the pair steered Netherlands past the 50 mark, Singh hit a flurry of boundaries and at that point the pair looked quite dangerous. The score was 83 when the Dutch lost their 3
rr wicket. The partnership was broken by Grandhomme.

The Dutch collapsed once Leede got dismissed and New Zealand bowlers were all over them like a rash. It looked good at one stage when Leede and Singh were going but after Leede git dismissed, it was just a downslide for the men in Orange. The visitors ended with 146 on the board and will be very disappointed on how this match has panned out for them. At one stage, in the first innings it looked like they would get New Zealand team all out under 100-130 mark, and from there going on to lose the match by 118 runs will hit them hard.

It was the knock from Tom Latham which bailed the Black Caps out today, Latham had a close LBW call that was reviewed by Dutch, the ball just went over the stumps, missing it by inches. History could have been made by the Dutch had the ball been a couple of inches lower.

New Zealand take a 2-0 lead in the ODI series. Netherlands will be looking to
rectify the mistakes made by the batters in the middle and come back stronger in the next game.
