Player Bio

A South African-born speedster, Brandon Dale Glover is a professional cricketer for the Netherlands national team and plays domestically for Northamptonshire in the County Championship. 

Glover made his first-class debut for Boland in the 2016-17 Sunfoil Series on October 20, 2016 and made his List A debut a year later in the CSA Provincial One-day Challenge in March 2017. 

In March 2019, the right-arm fast bowler was selected in the Netherlands squad for the ODI Tri-Series, featuring Ireland and Zimbabwe. He made his debut in the second ODI game against Zimbabwe and took a solitary wicket in the match.

In July 2019, Glover was selected to play for Amsterdam Knights in the inaugural edition of the Euro T20 Slam Cricket.

In the very same year the Dutchman was named in the Netherlands squad for the 2020 World T20 Qualifiers. He was at his menacing best in the tournament, scalping 16 wickets to help Netherlands qualify for the World T20 tournament. 

Following an impressive display in the qualifiers, the pacer was roped in by Northamptonshire for the 2020 County season. A genuine quick wicket taking bowler, Glover was instrumental in Netherland’s success in the World Cup Qualifiers. 

At the age of 24, he was handed a contract with the Oval Invincibles and will play for the Londoners in the Hundred ball tournament and will play alongside Jason Roy, Sam Curran, and Tom Curran which will help improve the youngster going into the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup in October.
