That's it from the presentation and from our coverage of this exciting encounter as well. Rajasthan Royals dominating the match and the points table as well. Jos Buttler (Player of the Match): "Little bit of luck but timed that well. Delighted to contribute to the win. However long you play the game, you have those anxiety and stresses and that's not easy. Mind is a powerful thing. Just think that everything will be okay and dig into the things you have done well, keep working hard and there's no secret to it. You need a little bit of luck along the way.

I actually did feel really good in the last game. I had a really good tournament in South Africa at the start of the year. Coming to the IPL, sort of relayed from the finish of that innings where I struggled a bit. I felt I needed one innings to put that to bed and now look forward.

We've started the season really well. We are together now for 3 seasons. Everyone's very comfortable with each other. Coaching staff supporting everyone really well and we got a good thing going and we need to make sure we keep working hard and stay on top of it."
PLAYER OF THE MATCH: JOS BUTTLER
Sanju Samson (Rajasthan Royals Captain): "Anything below 190, with a bit of dew coming in, the kind of a batting order we have was chaseable.

Few more games to go, they are bowling really well. 4 days of gap really helps players to rest, recover and helps us to come charged up for every game.

Bowling is 9 and batting is 8.7 [on the stronger forte for the team]

We all knew if Jos gets through the powerplay and hits couple of balls between the bat then I knew that I need to stick around him and he will take us home. Very happy for him and all our teammates. We really deserve a good night."
Most Fours of the Match: Virat Kohli (12 fours)
Super Sixes of the Match: Virat Kohli (4 sixes)
Fantasy Player of the Match: Virat Kohli (165 points)
Electric Striker of the Match: Jos Buttler (100* off 58 balls at 172.41)

Kumar Sangakkara (Director of Cricket, RR): "It was a good toss to win. We wanted to chase. RCB put us under the pressure in the powerplay but Nandre Burger brought us back in the game. And it was clinical from Jos and Sanju to take us home.

Everyone requires a chat. But the chat doesn’t have to be necessarily about cricket. For me, its about the state of mind. Jos has been one of the best openers in world cricket and you just want the outside noise to shut down.

Jaiswal had a brilliant two years. Not just in IPL but at international stage. A few bad innings doesn’t make any player bad. It’s important to learn from the mistakes. We know the quality that Jaiswal brings to the side and it was nice that without Jais performing, we put a good performance. It’s important for him to come up fresh.

I think it’s a lot of honest conversations. Sanju and I had connected really well. We spoke with the players and have forged a very good relation with the unit. We have to create a good team culture and that’s what we have been trying to do. The focus has been more inward than the outward.”
Faf du Plessis (Royal Challengers Bengaluru Captain): β€œI think we found the wicket was very tricky and low in the first innings. In our heads, we felt 190 was a good score. In the last two overs, we left 10-15 runs there. In the middle overs, their spinners bowled well and it was tough to hit. In the hindsight, we felt that we could have pushed ourselves harder.

Obviously, Virat was playing really well. With the partner Greeny or DK, you want to maximise in the last wo overs. Because we had wickets in the hand. But we spoke about squeezing hard. We tried hard but a lot of the balls were hit on the bottom of the bat and it was tough out there.

The pitch definitely got better. If you slide your hand on the outfield, you can feel the dew. It was a good toss to win by them. We were good in the powerplay but I guess that one over didn’t go our way. I guess 24 runs were scored in it and it helped them put us under pressure.

Not bowling Maxwell was because of two right-handed batters playing. Mayank has been bowling well in this season. With two right-handed batters at the crease, you always start with the ball spinning away. We went with the leg-spinner as impact player. With those two at the crease, we needed the wicket. If there was any leftie, certainly, Maxwell would have bowled.

Fielding, we were average to be honest with you. In IPL, you have to be committing to the ball. The energy on the field was down. We have spoken about it. I’m not much concerned about catches but it’s about the energy on the field.”
11:07 PM: Rajasthan Royals keep their winning streak as they win the 4th game of this season making it 4 out of 4 after overhauling RCB's first innings score of 183/3 with 5 balls to spare. There were 2 contrasting centuries in the match with Virat Kohli top scoring for RCB before Buttler's match-winning assault.

Earlier Virat Kohli's 113 not out and his partnership with Faf du Plessis worth 125 runs helped RCB score 183/3 in 20 overs. Yuzvendra Chahal, Nandre Burger and R Ashwin ensured the runs were kept quite during their bowling spells and were successful.

RCB started off well with Reece Topley removing Yashasvi Jaiswal for a silver duck. Sanju Samson then joined Jos Buttler with both the senior batters smashing the RCB bowlers all over the park especially left arm spinner Mayank Dagar who conceded 34 in his 2 overs. Impact player Himanshu Sharma was taken to the cleaners as well.

Samson crossed 4000 runs in his IPL career in 250th innings and finished with 69 in 42 balls when Mohammed Siraj had him caught in the deep breaking the 148 run partnership.

Yash Dayal and Topley chipped in quick intervals after getting the second wicket to peg back RR for 164/4. Buttler was still out in the middle and ensured there were wickets and deliveries, both in enough quantity. The English superstar kept the scoring rate in check hitting 9 fours and 4 maximums in his knock.

Shimron Hetmyer was unbeaten on 11 in 6 and with just 1 run needed in the final over, Buttler stranded on 94*, the opener smashed Cameron Green for a maximum over midwicket to seal the game and his sixth ton in the tournament coming in his 100th match. Only KL Rahul had the honours of scoring a century in his 100th IPL match before tonight's staggering display.

Topley (2/27) was the pick of the bowlers with Siraj (1/35) and Yash Dayal (1/37) finding themselves in the wickets column. Green (0/27) tried to keep the scoring rate in check but was unlucky. The 2 spinners Himanshu and Dagar shared 4 overs between them conceding 63 in 4 overs without a wicket.

Rajasthan Royals cling to the top spot in the points table with 8 points to their name. Royal Challengers Bengaluru are stuck at the 8th position with just 1 win in 5 games. Stay tuned as we bring you the post match presentation.
