That's it. Thank you for joining us! On behalf of my co-commentator Deepak and scorer Raju, I, Sidharth, say goodbye! Cheers!
Nat Sciver-Brunt (Player of the Match): "Very happy with my performance. We didn't get off to the best of the starts, but we assessed the conditions well, and luckily came out on top. It was the case of instinct taking over. We needed to get 160. It was such a quick outfield. I'm working on different variations with the ball. Getting a couple of wickets was a bonus."
Player of the Match: Nat Sciver-Brunt
Harmanpreet Kaur (Mumbai Indians Skipper): "I thought we were 20 runs short. But we managed things well with the ball. My partnership with Nat Sciver-Brunt was key. She played well. Rotated strike continuously. There was something in it (pitch) for the bowlers. Varying pace was important, and we did that. Full marks to Saika (Ishaque) for her effort."
Sixes of the Match: Deepti Sharma (2 sixes)
Striker of the Match: Amelia Kerr.

Saika Ishaque: "The plan was to target Navgire's legs and deny her room. When Navgire hit me for a six, Harmanpreet asked my next move. I replied I'll deliver a yorker. I did, and it paid off with a wicket, simple as that.

I wouldn't say we had a below-par score; the pitch slowed down in the second innings. It was a good score, worth fighting for. [On her celebration] It was just because I hadn't gotten a wicket in a while. It came naturally with the moment."
Alyssa Healy (UP Warriorz Women Captain): "I thought Mumbai bowled really well, getting us three wickets early made it tough to recover. Our bowlers did a great job, and we've been working hard. We can't change much due to the tournament's nature. The team is giving their best, so I can't fault them.

The conditions were a bit tricky. We'll review and come back tomorrow, aiming for a win. We need to win the last two games to advance. It's good to see our batters contributing, but it would be better if the top order scored more runs. Hopefully, we can support them better in the next game."
22:40 IST and Local Time | That's it. Mumbai Indians register a comfortable 42-run win over UP Warriorz. Pretty much an all-round effort to get the better of a team who didn't chase according to a plan.

UP Warriorz were off to a disappointing start, losing three batters - Kiran Navgire, Chamari Athapaththu and skipper Alyssa Healy - inside the PowerPlay. Wickets fell for UP Warriorz at regular intervals and they couldn’t get partnerships going. Deepti Sharma held one end, but she didn’t receive support that could have made things interesting. The India all-rounder smacked a half-century, but it wasn’t enough as UP Warriorz could only manage 118/9 in their full quota of 20 overs. Mumbai Indians’ Saika Ishaque was the pick of the bowlers with three scalps, while Nat Sciver-Brunt grabbed two.

Earlier, after opting to bat, reigning WPL champions Mumbai Indians lost their openers - Yastika Bhatia and Hayley Matthews - cheaply. Nat Sciver-Brunt and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur then steadied the ship as the duo added a fifty-plus stand for the third wicket, but the two couldn’t convert their good starts. Amelia Kerr then contributed a useful 23-ball 39, and S Sajana played a cameo as Mumbai Indians ended with 160, which they later successfully defended.

6 SIX! Deepti gets to her fifty with a biggie but fails to seal the deal for her side as UP Warriorz lose by 42 runs. Drops the ball short and on the stumps. Deepti charges down and hammers the pull over the deep mid-wicket for a maximum. A comprehensive victory for MI Women and they avenge their previous loss to UP Warriorz.

4 FOUR! A consolation boundary! Tossed up on the stumps. Deepti shimmies down the track and whacks it towards widish long-on for a boundary.
