That's it from a brilliant game in the Women's Premier League as the Royal Challengers Bangalore keep the top spot with a massive win. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Renuka Singh Thakur (Player of the Match): "I have bowled such a good spell after a long time after injury. This was my best spell.

I worked very hard. I came to Bengaluru to prepare for WPL I am happy to get the results. I have tried to swing the ball around the wicket at NCA."
Player of the Match: Renuka Singh Thakur
Smriti Mandhana (Royal Challengers Bangalore Captain): "Really happy with the way the crowd turned out, a big shout out to them as well.

Just watch the ball and react. Me and Sophie play the best without thinking so there was no message about finishing in certain overs. Sometimes these totals can be tricky if you lose 2 or 3. It was about watching the ball and play accordingly.

S Meghana has been a seasoned player in domestic. We have seen a little bit of her in the Indian team as well. It was brilliant for her to take the team through. She was really calm. She can strike at a good pace and even anchor the innings.

Lot of work has gone in the last 1 year in what team in need. Big credit to the support staff as well. This is just the start, we need to keep doing things right."
Sabbhineni Meghana: "I just wanted to take the confidence from the first game and play my natural game, and utilize the power play. I think after Smriti got out, I just wanted to rotate the strike, get closer, and give more strikes to Perry. Also, in between I was getting those boundaries. I just got the message to calm down. So only if there's a ball to hit, go for it. Otherwise, they were just telling me to take singles.

Yeah, obviously I've got a lot of support from Smriti and the team. They were just telling me to back my strengths. I think that has given me so much confidence to just play my natural game at the same time. Take a little bit of time if I'm not getting those runs. So I'm just a bit more relaxed going at number three. Holding my nerves and just trying to hit whatever is in my range here."
Beth Mooney (Gujarat Giants Captain): "I think, you know, obviously, defending a low total is always going to be hard on these wickets with the batting lineup that RCB have. So, yeah, we'll have to go back to the drawing board and find out what's going to work moving forward. I don't know if I believe in form in this format. If we start scoring runs in the next two games, you'll all forget about the first two. So I think perhaps we're just not taking the high percentage options at the right time. Obviously, only getting to 108 is pretty low scoring in T-20 these days. So we need, obviously, wickets at the back end as well. So if we can do that, we can probably get to a competitive total of 140 or 150.

We just saw RCB had a few spinners in their lineup tonight and she's [Harleen] pretty good against spin. So we thought that might free her up a bit through the middle, starting against spin instead of pace. But unfortunately, it didn't work tonight. But, yeah, as I said, we'll go back to the drawing board with a few things.

I think we can't keep changing the players every year and expecting us to set the world on fire from game one. So hopefully we can stick with the group and really support them through this and try and get the best out of each player individually and as a collective."
10:16 PM: The Royal Challengers Bangalore put up a brilliant show at home. First with the ball to restrict Gujarat Giants for 107/7 with Renuka Singh and Sophie Molineux putting up a show and then with the bat as captain Smriti Mandhana and S Meghana guided the team to a mighty 8-wicket win with 45 balls to spare.

Smriti was looking in good nick since ball one as she hammered a couple of boundaries to kick start the chase. Ashleigh Gardner collected a wicket in the 4th over removing Sophie Devine for 6. Smriti continued the assault with the team adding 47 runs in the powerplay.

RCB brought up their 50 in 6.4 overs as Meghana and Smriti (43) added 40 runs for the 2nd wicket. Smriti was dismissed by Tanuja Kanwar as she took a return catch. Ellyse Perry (23*) joined forces with Meghana (36*) and did the needful.

Gardner (1/15), Meghna Singh and Kathryn Bryce (0/17 each) tried to take wickets and put some pressure but there weren't enough runs on the board and support from the other end to put pressure on RCB.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are now at the top of the table with 2 wins in 2 games, Gujarat Giants have lost both their fixtures and lay at the bottom of the table.
12.3 S Rana to E Perry
4 FOUR RUNS! It's all over! 75.6 kph. Short of a length on the pads. Perry rocks back and helps the ball on the way. Whips it to the right of square leg and finds the boundary behind square in the on side! Huge win for RCB!

12.1 S Rana to S Meghana
1 Over the wicket. 84.8 kph. Full on the off stump, driven to wide long off for one.
