That's an end to an enthralling Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024. Islamabad United became the first franchise in the PSL to lift the title thrice. The party will go on and on for nights. Cricket doesn't stop! Up next is cricket's biggest carnival- Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, starting this Friday (March 22) between the arch-rivals.

Stay tuned to our network for matches across the globe. For now, this is me, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Akshay Bhide, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer, brought you all the live-action of this mouth-watering finale. We will meet again. Until then, it's cheers!
Shadab collects the trophy and the celebrations start. His teammates join him and off go the fireworks. The Islamabad United players pose for the photographs behind the 'CHAMPIONS' board. They are the deserving winners in this season of PSL.
Shadab Khan (Islamabad United Captain and Player of the Tournament): "See, whenever I lead the team, I promote myself up. I know my strengths and weaknesses. I don't have that firepower to deliver at numbers 6-7. So, I promote myself up to 4 and try to give my best to the team. It does help the side.

Coming to this tournament, I was not in a good space. I have tried to fix my technical issues as a bowler. That's a long process, and the improvements will come.

Watching the match is tough for me. In the middle, I don't feel pressure, but watching it from the outside is tough, and it adds to the pressure. I make life difficult for people next to me as well, so I don't sit with batters who are supposed to walk in next. The sign of the best team is that they win even without playing a perfect game.

I want to give a special mention to the owners who have backed me. I was captain for five years, and we didn't reach the final, but they backed me. There are a lot of things I feel that make this trophy very important for us."
Shadab Khan, the United skipper, collects the Winners award.
Islamabad United players collect the Winners' Medal one by one.
Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans Captain): "If the game gets to the last ball, you can't point on one thing. It was great effort from the boys to take the game down to the last ball. Our batting was a bit vulnerable. But the way we have bowled in pressure situations, it was good to see them perform. As a professional, you have to adapt to the conditions. In these types of tournaments, you want the momentum to be behind you. But we have to give credit to them for the way they played. I haven't been at my best in batting. I was lovely to play in front of a packed stadium in Karachi tonight."
Mohammed Rizwan, the Multan Sultans skipper, collects the Runners-Up award.
