6:32 PM IST, 6:02 PM Local Time | Well that's it from the last game at Multan in PSL 9! Hop tabs to join our coverage of the second match from the double header in PSL 9!

Until then, this is Anirudh Modi, signing off along with my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal, and our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer! See you on the next one!
Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans Captain)- "You can't be satisfied after a victory. Yes, you can be happy as you have won 4 games out of 5 and that is what we are. I think we will get similar support from the crowds throughout the Pakistan. Yes, Multan supports us a lot but I don't think the extent of support will drop down at Lahore. Some of our players are getting injured at times and we have to be aware of that. I just want to thank the crowd for the support."
Mohammad Ali (Player of the Match): "I'm just trying to improve with every match and correct my mistakes from the previous game. My plans are simple, it's too hit the target and do what the situation demands for him.

I give all credit to 4-day cricket, all our greats have played this game. The consistency comes from that format, which covers white ball cricket and T20 cricket as well. I would like to thank the home crowd for all the support and I hope they keep supporting us and enjoy the cricket we play."
Player of the Match: Mohammad Ali
Superpower of the Day: Reeza Hendricks (72 runs off 47 balls)
Energetic batter of the Match: Tayyab Tahir (35 runs off 22 balls)
Moment of the Match: David Willey's catch to dismiss Sherfane Rutherford.
Time for the post match presentation ceremony..
Rilee Rossouw(Quetta Gladiators Captain)- "It was a good game. They played better cricket than us and that's the reason they are on the winning side. This is our first loss in this year's tournament and I think we were always in the game till the last five overs of the game. Then the things got changed. Today I think I would have batted deeper but you can't help, this happens in cricket."
David Willey- "I think this win was important for us. We have played well and got the victory. We bowled tight lines to make sure we get the wickets. I just sticked to my basics and then got some assistance from the pitch and got some swing. I was in this franchise a couple of years ago and I do think that this is a great franchise."
6:13 PM IST, 5:43 PM Local Time | Multan Sultans seal victory in the last game at their home ground for PSL 9! They defeat a valiant Quetta Gladiators by 13 runs to open up a 2 point lead at the top of the table and end Quetta's unbeaten run in PSL 9!

Quetta won the toss and elected to bowl first! Multan Sultans on the back of skipper Rizwan's 51 runs off 42 balls and Reeza Hendricks' mammoth 72 runs off 47 balls, aided by Tahir's 35 runs in 22 balls, registered a score of 180/4 at the end of their 20 overs.

Come the chase, Ali won the battle in the opening exchanges with Roy to dismiss the dangerous opener for 12 runs from 15 balls. Saud Shakeel helped Quetta revive the powerplay with a brisk 24 runs off 13 balls and it was followed up with a 62 run-stand between Rossouw and Nafay to take their team's total to 104/3 after 12 overs, which when Rossouw lost his wicket.

Multan Sultan did not look back after that wicket, as they kept putting on the choke on Quetta's batting lineup, to eventually pick up the remaining 7 wickets in the next 8 overs and stop Quetta's unbeaten bandwagon from going any further in this season's PSL.

Multan's late innings charge, where they scored 49 runs in 3 overs proved to be the defining patch of the match, as Quetta could not repeat the same and floundered towards the end of this chase!
