And that concludes the thrilling encounter! Stay tuned for more cricketing excitement in the future!

This is Hitesh Peddurwar, bidding you farewell alongside our diligent scorer and analyst, Chandan Kr Singh. Until next time, have a fantastic weekend, and see you at the next match!

Kagiso Rabada(Player of the Match): " I just got the line wrong, every run in that stage was crucial. Unfortunately today it didn't go our way. We didn't wanna think about the last year. No one is blaming but we played the patchy cricket. We couldn't put up consistent performances, will look to do it next year. At the moment according to me, DSG is the stronger side. It's amazing to play here. The local players are learning a lot."
Player of the Match: Kagiso Rabada
Wayne Parnell(Pretoria Capitals Skipper):  Great performance by the team. Really impressive from the bowlers and also the batters in the end. I had 175 in my mind but to keep them under this total was really good. 180-190 would have been a winning score. They have a quality bowling side that out us under pressure. Muthusamy just keeps finding ways to win us the game. He is a classy player who can hurt you in different ways. I'll keep an eye on the TV for the next game."
Kieron Pollard(MI Cape Town Skipper): " Yeah, well played Pretoria Capitals. We are very disappointed as we didn't get over the line. Need to pay attention to the details. A couple of things didn't work for us, like bowling in the death, bowling in tandem, and batting in the starting overs. Sometimes things work and sometimes it doesn't work. We were looking around 18- runs but we were short by 15-20 runs. We are going to come back harder next year. Hopefully next year is better for us!".
