Milestone
That's all from this one-sided encounter. Durban's Super Giants have qualified for the playoffs with this win. Time to conclude our coverage as well. For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of co-commentator Hiren Kumar and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. CHEERS!
Matthew Breetzke: "Yeah, very happy with the knock. I got starts in the first few games and to get past the 50-mark is a good feeling. There are not many technical changes in my batting. The more you play the more you learn. There are a lot of guys from the last year and there is a good vibe in the team and when you are winning it makes a big difference."
Matthew Breetzke is the player of the match.
Keshav Maharaj (Durban's Super Giants Captain): "Two solid performances from the team, and I'm really proud of the boys. In the last game, we focused on executing plans against the batters, and we stuck to them. Breetzke has consistently provided a strong start in the tournament. The way he plays some shots brings back memories of Herschelle Gibbs Gibbs.

[On Klaasen's batting position] It's crucial to recognize the different roles players will have in this tournament Noor Ahmad is truly special. His consistent performance and world-class skills are exactly why we brought him on board. Despite being young in his career, he has achieved remarkable feats."
David Miller (Paarl Royals Captain) : "I mean exceptional batting from Klaasen in the end and also from Matthew Breetze. We did not bowl well in end and also did not perform well with the bat. We have 5 days off after this game. It is difficult to bowl to Klaasen and it is tough to figure out where to bowl him. 100% we are still in the hunt for the playoffs. Nothing to stress about but the last two games will be crucial."
10:05 PM IST, 18:35 Local Time: A humiliating defeat for Paarl Royals, as they lost to DSG twice in the last couple of days, this time by a massive margin of 125 runs. Durban's Super Giants cement their place in the playoffs and become the first team in the second season of SA20 to do so.

Earlier, after opting to bat first, DSG got off to a shaky start as they lost three wickets inside the powerplay. Breetzke and Stoinis started the rescue mission, and the pair added 100+ runs for the fourth wicket. Breetzke looked in sublime form and contributed 78 runs off 43 balls, while Stoinis struggled a bit to score at a brisk pace and contributed 38 runs off 36 balls. Klaasen came out all guns blazing, pummeled the Royals' bowlers all around the park, and notched up his half-century off just 16 balls, the fastest fifty of SA20. Klaasenโ€™s 17-ball 50 runs helped DSG post a mammoth 208/7 in 20 overs.

Obed McCoy and Shamsi claimed a couple of wickets for the Royals, while Bjorn Fortuin, Lungi Ngidi, and Fabian Allen celebrated a solitary wicket.

In pursuit of a hefty 208 runs, Paarl Royals got off to a horrendous start as they started losing wickets from the start and were 6 down for just 62 runs at the end of 9 overs. Jason Roy, Jos Buttler, David Miller, and Fabian Allen, all big names, failed to make an impact and departed cheaply.

Mitchell Van Buuren held his wicket from the other end, remaining unbeaten on 36 runs, but didn't get any support from the other end as the Royals were bundled out for a mere 83 runs in the 14th over. It was a sorry-looking scorecard for the Royals, with only two batters crossing the double-digit figure.

Noor Ahmad wreaked havoc with the ball for DSG, grabbing 5 wickets in 3.2 overs. Keshav Maharaj chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Reece Topley, Marcus Stoinis, and Naveen-ul-Haq contributed a solitary wicket to the Royals' downfall.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation.....
13.2 N Ahmad to T Shamsi
W OUT! LBW! Fifer for Noor Ahmed and Shamsi will not trouble the scorers. Shamsi does review it but looks like the game is done and dusted. Googly ball, into the middle and leg stump line, Shamsi is beaten on the defense and is struck on the pads. Three reds and that will be it. Durban's Super Giants win by a massive margin off 125 runs and what a clinical performance this has been from them. 200+ with the bat and they have wrapped up the Royals for just 83.
