The Riders had to chase 152 and started off well with Brandon King hitting 45 in 22 balls and taking the side to 74/2 at the end of the poweprlay. Mominul Haque fell for a duck but Shakib Al Hasan got off well with 29 in 15 balls.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (3/24) took the attack to the opposition and choked the runs with Keshav Maharaj (1/31). Jimmy Neesham got an early reprieve in his innings and punished the opposition with 2 fours and as many sixes before Obed McCoy (3/34) got rid of him for 28 in 17.
McCoy teamed up with Kyle Mayers and picked up late order wickets thanks to Dwaine Pretorius and Abu Hider playing lose shots and throwing the wickets away.
