Anamul Haque Bijoy (Khulna Tigers Captain)- "It was a do or die game for us and we did well. The execution of the bowlers was great today. I just said the guys to play their natural game. We have 2-3 days break and we will have a good recovery time. I think we should go for winning all the remaining matches to get into a better position in the points table."
Wayne Parnell (Player of the Match)- "Everything is going good now. It was tough for the last 48 hours. I came from South Africa and played the hame. I just used the advantage of the new ball and our bowlers bowled really well. Credit goes to Afif and Shai Hope. Sometimes, T20 cricket gets complicated for the bowlers. Test cricket lengths often work and I just tried to stick to the basics."

Taskin Ahmed (Durdanto Dhaka Captain)- "You know, Chattogram provides good wicket for batting but the thing that went against us is that the pitch was sticky at the start. Still, we should have scored 160. We were 32 runs short. I have learnt that, in T20 game, you should stay one step ahead of the opposition. This is the first time, I am captaining a side. It is a good experience. I got 100th BPL wicket today and that's a proud moment for me."

Coming to bat first, Dhaka side had an opening partnership of 18 runs facing 20 balls but just after that, Mohammad Naim and Saif Hassan got out in two consecutive balls. After that, they lost Adam Rossington(18) and went down to become 26 for 3. Alex Ross played a flurry of dot balls and that shifted the pressure to his side. Irfan Sukkur struggled initially and took 9 balls to get off the mark. He went on to score 25 runs with 3 boundaries and a six. Alex Ross also scored 25 runs before getting out by run out but he faced 35 balls in doing so. Mosaddek Hossain played a good knock of 26 runs off 23 balls. Chaturanga de Silva batted for 11 balls and played a cameo knock of 17 runs with two maximums.

But Parvez Hossain Emon took the charge and hit a few boundaries right from the start. He got a little support from Shai Hope, who scored 32 runs off 28 balls. Emon got 40 runs from 30 balls hitting 2 boundaries and 4 maximums. But it was Afif Hossain, who batted marvellously till the end to score 43 runs off 21 balls with 2 boundaries and 4 maximums.
Shoriful Islam took a couple of wickets and Taskin Ahmed took same number of wickets also. The other wicket was taken by Chaturanga de Silva.
