That's all from this contest, folks! For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. CHEERS!
Mohammad Mithun (Sylhet Strikers Captain): "Yeah, we were looking for the win and today is that day so, very happy. Dhaka started really well and I told my bowlers to stay at their basics and they bounced back strongly in the second half of the innings."
Benny Howell (Player of the Match): "Yeah, it was a little tricky. Very happy to get over the line, good to win. I know we have to win a few more, but it's good to win today.  We just had to restrict them as much as we possibly could, and actually, our bowlers bowled incredibly well. We restricted to a target that was reachable with the bat. So now we're very happy.

[Pitch] It was tricky to bat on, and nice to bowl on. I mean, you would like a probably more batter-friendly wicket, but at the end of the day, we had to do a job today and we did it well."
Player of the Match: Benny Howell
Taskin Ahmed (Durdanto Dhaka Captain): "Yeah, definitely, it's disappointing as we started well but failed to carry the momentum and were around 30 runs short. It would have been a different game had we scored around 150 runs. We have not batted well in the whole tournament."
9:22 PM IST, 9:52 PM Local Time: Benny Howell finishes things off in style, and Sylhet Strikers win by 5 wickets with 6 balls to spare. A well-composed 50+ partnership between Burl and Howell has helped the Strikers come out of a dire situation and cross the winning line.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Durdanto Dhaka lost Sabbir Hossain for a mere 4 runs in the first over of the innings. Mohammad Naim and Saif Hassan started building the partnership in the middle, and the pair scored at a brisk pace in the powerplay and helped their side post 52/1 in the mandatory powerplay. The duo added 78 runs for the second wicket, with Saif falling just 9 runs shy of his fifty. Saif was followed by Naim in the next over, who departed for 36 runs and fell prey to Samit Patel.

Following the departure of both set batters, Durdanto Dhaka failed to carry the momentum, kept losing wickets at regular intervals, and were restricted to a below-par total of 124/8 in 20 overs.

Rejaur Rahman Raja shone with the ball for the Strikers, claiming three wickets. Samit Patel chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Nayeem Hasan and Benny Howell celebrated a solitary wicket.

In pursuit of a paltry 124 runs, Sylhet Strikers lost Harry Tector, Samit Patel, and Zakir Hasan cheaply inside the powerplay, with all three falling prey to left-arm quick Shoriful Islam. However, Najmul Hossain Shanto scored briskly and kept the run rate in check, helping his side post 42 runs in the mandatory powerplay despite losing three wickets.

Shanto (33) and Mohammad Mithun (17) steadied the ship in the middle overs, but Usman Qadir removed both set batters in quick succession to bring Durdanto Dhaka back into the game. However, Burl and Howell displayed a cautious approach, playing carefully and adding a 50+ runs partnership. The duo remained unbeaten on 29 and 30 runs, respectively, and helped the Strikers cross the winning line by 5 wickets and 6 balls to spare.

Shoriful Islam bagged three wickets for Durdanto Dhaka, while Usman Qadir celebrated a couple of wickets.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...
