That's all from match number 11 of the ongoing BPL. Thank you for staying with us. For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of co-commentator Wali Siddiqui and scorer/analyst Manish Bishnoi. CHEERS!
Curtis Campher (Player of the Match): "Yeah, I think it was just kind of one of those days where anything you touch kind of goes to gold, you know, another day you can get hit for runs and not score runs. Yeah, just happy to help the team out in the winning cause.

[Avishka Fernando] Yeah, I think it was a top knock from him. He really showed his class, batted time, hit some really great shots, and really set it up for us, and thankfully we were able to come home strong."

Time for the post-match presentation...
Tamim Iqbal (Fortune Barishal Captain): "Has been the story of  the season for us so far (losing close games). We can not miss so many chances, the drop catches are costing us. We were in control of the game but the two drop catches cost us. Someone should have played a knock in the middle and that could have been the difference in the second innings. Chasing 190 odd runs, we were well placed in the first 10 overs but no one took their chances with the bat. You also need to have a bit of luck but credit to them, they played really well. Even while chasing we were ahead, in the first innings we conceded over 60 runs in the final few overs and we need to fix up our death bowling too."
4:27 PM IST, 16:57 Local Time: Chattogram Challengers thumped Fortune Barishal by 10 runs to register their third win in four matches. Fortune Barishal got off to a solid start but failed to carry the momentum in the middle overs and had to bear the brunt of it.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Chattogram Challengers posted a hefty 193/4 in 20 overs courtesy of Avishka Fernando, who played a scintillating knock of 91* off 50 balls. Shahadat Hossain contributed 31 runs, while Curtis Campher’s rapid 9-ball 29* runs helped Chattogram Challengers post a hefty total on the board. Taijul Islam bagged a couple of wickets for Fortune Barishal, while Kamrul Islam and Yannic Cariah celebrated a solitary wicket.

In pursuit of 193 runs, Fortune Barishal got off to a solid start as Ahmed Shehzad and Tamim Iqbal added 55 runs for the first wicket, with Shehzad departing after a quick 17-ball 39 runs. Soumya Sarkar (17 off 16) joined Tamim (33 off 30) in the middle, and the duo started building a partnership with Tamim shifting his gears to keep the run rate in check. However, their progress was halted by Curtis Campher, who trapped both set batters in an over, putting Fortune Barishal in a spot of bother. To make matters worse, Campher struck twice in his second over as well, removing Mahmudullah and Yannic Cariah cheaply.

Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidy Hasan Miraz started the rescue mission, adding 50 runs for the sixth wicket. However, Al-Amin halted Miraz’s 16-ball 35-run cameo, providing a much-needed breakthrough for the Challengers. Rahim, on the other hand, fell prey to Bilal Khan in the penultimate over after scoring 23 runs off 22 balls, and eventually, Barishal fell 10 runs short of the target.

Curtis Campher shone with the ball for the Challengers, claiming 4 wickets. Bilal Khan chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Al-Amin Hossain contributed a solitary wicket to Barishal's downfall.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...
