That marks the end of our coverage from the second semifinal of the National T20 Cup between Karachi Whites and Peshawar Region where the Karachi side qualified for the final defeating the Peshawar side by 4 wickets.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off alongside my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Do join us tomorrow for the live coverage of the grand finale tomorrow between Abbottabad Region and Karachi Whites. Good night, stay safe.
Asad Shafiq(Karachi Whites Captain)- "The wicket was good and dew was there. I knew that bowling will not be easy here. I think we gave 15-20 runs more away and they got 177 on the board.

The dew factor was there and that made things difficult for the spinners. Khurram Manzoor gave us a positive start and we discussed to play positive cricket throughout the run chase.
Khurram said I will go all out and if a couple of big overs comes, they will be on backfoot.

Throughout our spinners were excellent. Our batting and bowling was really good but we had lapses in the fielding. We will try to improve that tomorrow."
Umar Amin(Rawalpindi Captain)- "I think their bowlers bowled really well in the powerplay. But we came back and  scored the runs at a faster rate and gave them 178 run target. Azam batted really well. When 50 odd runs were required of the final 5 overs, he changed the game.

I think a dew factor was there and the dew was quite more than the other days. I think we have restricted them till the 15th over.

The tournament was pretty hectic as we played 9 matches in the last 8 days. I think the tournament was really competitive from the super 8 stage. I want to thank PCB for organising this tournament.

I think Jahandad Khan will flourish in the future."
Azam Khan(player of the match)- "I played in these type of situations. I finished matches on PSL also and tried to finish the game but unfortunately I could not.

Our team is quite good. I have always told that I have the key factors to change the game. That three sixes of the fast bowler changed the game. People says that my game against pace is not so good and I am trying to make it better. I have a decent strike rate ad I try to maintain that in the T20 games."
Player of the match- Azam Khan
Outstanding performance of the match- Umar Amin
Anwar Ali(Karachi Whites)- "Thanks to the almighty that I played well. There is nothing better than the fact that I remained unbeaten to finish the game for my team and we are playing the final tomorrow.

I thought that I should keep believe in myself because I finished this type of games earlier. We finished the game on a good note. We will play the final match like another match just as the professional cricketers do."
00:10 IST and 23:40 Local Time | Karachi Whites defeated their worthy opponent Rawalpindi Region by 4 wickets and 11 balls remaining. They will face the Abbottabad Region in the big final tomorrow.

Earlier coming to bat first, the Rawalpindi side posted 177 runs losing 5 wickets. Skipper Umar Amin batted really well after his side lost two early wickets. Zeeshan Malik spent a lot of time in the middle and scored 32 runs of 34 balls. But Umar Amin hit a few boundaries at the end of the innings and remained unbeaten on 82 of 47 balls. Experienced Mohammad Nawaz played a good knock of 35 runs facing 17 balls.

Pacer Sohail Khan and Shahnawaz Dahani took a couple of wickets each and Danish Aziz took a wicket for the Whites.

Coming to chase the run, Khurram Manzoor gave the Karachi side a flyer start. He scored 18 from the first 4 balls and got out on the 5th ball. Ammad Alam and Omair Yousuf played a couple of good knocks. Ammad departed scoring 24 and Yousuf scored 25. Later Danish Aziz got out scoring 22 runs and the Karachi side still needed 67 from 45 balls. Azam Khan and Anwar Ali played out the spinners and when the equation climbed up to over 10 runs from an over from the final 5 overs, they took on the pacers. Azam departed after a calculative innings of 38 runs but Anwar stayed unbeaten till the end of the innings scoring 25 and with the help of Sohail Khan, he helped his team to reach home.

Mehran Mumtaz and Jahandad Khan took a couple of wickets for the Rawalpindi and Kashif Ali and Mubasir Khan took a wicket each.

Stay tuned for the post match presentation.

A valiant effort by Mohammad Nawaz in the deep. He saves a couple of runs.
