That's it from our coverage of the WBBL 09 Challenger. Brisbane Heat will now face the Adelaide Strikers in the final to be played on Saturday. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of two fine gentlemen who brough this game your way; Akshay Bhide and Paras Yadav. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Grace Harris (Player of the Match): "Feels very good. We finished third and this was the hurdle and really happy to cross it and qualify for the final. Looking forward to facing the Adelaide Women in Adelaide. They have been very consistent this season and it will be a great show on Saturday.

Amelia controlled the innings in the middle phase and made sure that we didn’t lose back-to-back wickets. She kept the scoreboard moving and also Laura played a good knock in the end. This is a great win and really happy with it.

I think it will be the final game of the season and I’m expecting a great crowd. The Adelaide Strikers Women are very competitive and if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. So, it will be a great contest in the final."

5:17 PM IST, 7:47 PM Local Time: The Brisbane Heat defeat Perth Scorchers in another one-sided encounter by 67 runs. It is the Scorchers' fourth consecutive defeat in the tournament and they are now knocked off.

The Adelaide Strikers will have Brisbane Heat as their opponents in the final of WBBL 09. After winning the toss and batting first, the visitors romped up 197/5 in their 20 overs on the back of Grace Harris' 54 and handy contributions from the middle order.

The Scorchers openers started off with intent but Nicola Hancock chipped in the 2nd over to remove Lauren Winfield-Hill with Chloe Piparo getting out next in the very next over. The powerplay fetched just 25 runs for the Scorchers.

Nat Sciver-Brunt (36 off 27) held one end but saw the continuous fall of wickets from the other end. She was the 5th batter to be dismissed with 99 more runs required in 42 deliveries. Sophie Devine only managed 13 in 9 balls and after Sciver-Brunt's dismissal, the game was a mere formality.

Georgia Voll was the pick of the bowlers finishing with 4/19. Jess Jonassen opened the innings and picked up 2 wickets for 25 in her 3 overs. Nicola Hancock and Amelia Kerr got a wicket apiece. Courtney Sippel and Charli Knott were the only bowlers who remained wicketless as the Heat wrapped up an important 67-run win.

Stumping Check. Fair delivery to start. Redmayne collects it cleanly and whips the bails in a flash. The replays are in and Ainsworth has just managed to ground the back leg in time. NOT OUT is displayed on the big screen and Voll doesn't get a fifer.
18.6 G Voll to C Ainsworth
0 Another stumping appeal from Redmayne! She seems confident! A good length delivery outside the off stump, a quicker ball. Ainsworth clears the front leg and also has her backfoot in the air and dragged outside the crease. Swing and a miss, Redmayne taking the bails off in a flash.
