Sikandar Raza (Player of the Match): "Anytime a role is given to me, i put everything from my side. We did not think it was 180 wicket and we were thinking of 160. When we got 180 we were confident. 100% those guys (Scott Kuggeleijn and Olly Stone) are standing up for us and both of them are doing brilliant for us. I know them (on few Zimbabwe fans) and will look to spend some time with them and have a banter."

Sam Billings (Dubai Capitals Captain): "Yeah, we've played a couple of games here and we've always found that getting yourself in is always tricky. So I think that's been a trend of the tournament. If you get past kind of 10-15, you can go on to get a decent score, but it's very hard to start as a batsman in this competition so far. So I think the platform that Tom Banton has given us, and Holden, obviously, last game as well, and Tom today was brilliant. So it allows the middle order to then keep going.
We believed that a score of 160+ would be excellent, and we were pleased with that total. Kuggeleijn and Stone have been fantastic together, complementing each other brilliantly. They've set the tone with their bowling on these wickets, which have offered some movement. I'll certainly keep an eye on it; both teams are of high quality. Overall, I'm delighted with our performance in the last three games. We're in a very good position."

I think in this tournament, powerplay is crucial and we were poor there. We had a decent tournament compared to last season. Some positives. Good team bonding."

11:22 PM IST, 9:52 PM Local Time: Dubai Capitals thump Abu Dhabi Knight Riders by a massive 85 runs and advance into Qualifier 2 of the tournament, and they will face the loser of Qualifier 1 on the 15th of February. Poor batting display by Abu Dhabi Knight Riders as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals, getting bundled out for 103 runs in the 17th over of the innings, and are eliminated from the tournament.
Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Dubai Capitals posted a hefty 188/5 in 20 overs. They got off to a shaky start, losing two wickets inside the powerplay, but Tom Banton and Tom Abell rescued the Capital and added 60+ runs for the third wicket. Banton and Abell kept the scoreboard ticking at a decent pace but fell 6 and 9 runs, respectively, short of their half-centuries.
Sam Billings and Sikandar Raza paired up in the middle and carried the momentum, with both batters scoring at a brisk pace. Raza contributed 40 runs off just 19 balls, while Billings remained unbeaten on 46 runs, helping their side post a good total on the board.
Sabir Ali Rao bagged a couple of wickets for Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, while David Willey, Joshua Little, and Fabian Allen contributed one wicket.
In pursuit of 188 runs, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders started losing wickets from the word go and kept losing wickets at regular intervals, finding themselves at 46/5 in the 8th over. Sam Hain and David Willey steadied the sinking ship for a while, but Raza clean-bowled Hain and Willey for 29 and 36 runs, respectively, breaking the budding partnership and putting Knight Riders in deep waters.
Abu Dhabi Knight Riders kept losing wickets at regular intervals and eventually got skittled for 103 runs in 16.5 overs, losing the match by a massive margin of 85 runs.
