So that marks the end of our coverage from the exciting encounter of ILT20 between Desert Vipers and Dubai Capitals. For now, this is Saptak Sanyal, signing off on the behalf of our scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Good night.
Sikandar Raza (Player of the Match)- "I knew that he will try to bowl short and that's ehy I moved to the line of the ball. I had no other options than hitting it aerially and I choose to go over mid off. Yes, Naseer has bowled really well. It takes immense courage to bowl the death over in a T20 game. He executed slower balls well but then it happens. We got this lessons in our career too.

I think in the last two years, I kept my faith in my abilities and worked hard. Every time, I went to the nets, I bowled in the nets, batted in the nets and took power hitting as a special deal. That hard work has helped me."
Player of the Match- Sikandar Raza
Sam Billings (Dubai Capitals Captain)- "You can do nothing when you got out but Raza has shown true character today. I am really happy with his performance, I was chatting with him in the middle. After the first time-out, we decided that I should go for some brave shots and that has paid off. Incredible bowling effort from our side. We didn't bowl bad in the powerplay, but that was some exceptional hitting from Alex Hales. Our spinners did a fantastic job in the middle. We are looking forward for the next game."
Colin Munro- "They bowled vey well in the middle overs and we lost a few wickets. Losing wicket will never help. Despite everything, the credit goes to Ali Naseer. He bowled really well and I appreciate him. Raza showed why he is a class all-rounder. I told Naseer to bowl his best delivery in the final over.

Raza struggled in the start but recovered well. The thing is that they didn't lose much wickets in the middle overs. Tomorrow, the performance of MI will be crucial for us."
Biggest six of the match- Alex Hales (113 meter)
Time for the post match presentations.
23:36 IST and 22:06 Local Time | Sikandar Raza finished the game with a maximum in the last ball and the Dubai Capitals got a terrific victory defeating the Desert Vipers by 5 wickets!

The Vipers were off to a terrific start with their two openers, Alex Hales and Philip Salt batted in a sensational way throughout the powerplay. The Vipers boarded 80 runs from the powerplay and Salt got out for 26 facing just 11 balls. Then Alex Hales took the onus of hitting the boundaries. Daniel Lawrence helped him a bit as he scored 15 runs off 11 balls. With the sensational batting display by the top three, the Vipers reached 100 run mark in just 8 overs but after that, the Capitals' spinners turned the game upside down. Hales got out for 66 off 37 balls hitting 4 boundaries and 6 maximums. After his dismissal, nobody stepped up for the Desert Vipers. Sam Curran scored 17 runs off 18 balls, Michael Alexander Jones scored a run-a-ball 20.

For the Dubai Capitals, Roelof van der Merwe took 2 wickets for 19 runs and Olly Stone took 2 wickets for 31 runs. Sikandar Raza delivered a fiery spell through the middle overs and finished with 1 for 16 after his 4 over spell. Haider Ali and Scott Kuggeleijn took a wicket each.

Coming to chase the run, the Dubai Capitals lost Max Holden(8), Tom Banton(19) and the impact sub Ben Dunk(1). Just after that, Sikandar Raza and Sam Billings took the onus from them. They started slowly in their partnership but after the first strategy break, Billings started to open the game up taking on the bowlers. Billings had hit boundaries at will and reached to his half-century and perished scoring 57 runs off 36 balls. After that, Sikandar Raza took the charge from him and got a little support from Dasun Shanaka (10). The Capitals maintained the run rate when it climbed up to 11 runs per over. Raza kept his nerves cool and took the game to the final ball of the innings. When 6 was needed from the final ball, he smacked Naseer over long off to secure the winning run with a maximum. Raza remained unbeaten on 60 off 45 balls.

Sam Curran took 2 wickets giving 39 runs away. Mohammed Amir, Ali Naseer and the impact sub Matheesha Pathirana shared one wicket each.

19.6 A Naseer to S Raza
6 SIKANDAR RAZA- YOU LEGEND!!!!!!! Naseer bowls a slow length ball outside off. This time he gives width to Raza. Raza keeps his nerves calm and waits for the delivery to come to him and tonks it over long off for a maximum!!!!! The entire Dubai Capitals squad is striding out to the ground to celebrate and hug Raza here and he is pumped up in delight!!!! Unlucky for the 19-year old Ali Naseer. He did everything possible considering his caliber but when there's someone like Raza is in the crease, it is hard for any specialists to stop him.
19.5 A Naseer to S Raza
0 EXCELLENT FROM NASEER!!!!! He serves a back of length slower delivery outside off. Raza steps out to hit but misses and the Capitals need 6 from the final ball!
19.4 A Naseer to S Raza
2 Fullish delivery angling at the middle and leg. Raza tries a slog sweep but mistimes it towards backward square leg and the short fine leg fielder gives the chase to stop the boundary. Two runs taken.
19.3 A Naseer to S Kuggeleijn
1 Full delivery outside off. Kuggeleijn hits it to long off and rotates the strike with a single.
19.2 A Naseer to S Kuggeleijn
0 Hard length delivery at the fourth stump. Batter swings his bat but misses. Crucial doit ball here and 9 required from 4 balls now.
19.1 A Naseer to S Kuggeleijn
4 Unlucky for Naseer!!!!! Slower full length ball outside off. Kuggeleijn swings his bat to loft it over the off side but gets an outside edge. Phil Salt dives to his right but he is a bit late to put the dive in. The ball beats him and the short third fielder and races to the fence for a boundary.
The match is down to the final over. Capitals need 13 from the final over and Naseer to bowl this. Kuggeleijn should rotate the strike as early as possible to keep Raza in the strike.
