That marks the end of our coverage from the 23rd match of the ongoing ILT20 between Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and Sharjah Warriors. For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on the behalf of our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Good Night.
Joshua Little (Player of the Match)-"I just tried to keep the things as simple as possible and that has paid off. I worked out on a few things. As a left armer, I tried to attack the crease. Our coaching staff gave me the backing and helped me to perform well in the crucial stages."

Andre Russell(Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Captain)- "The bowlers have made it really easy for me tonight. They have reduced a lot of pressure from me. I think our new bowlers have done tremendously well. When guys like Imad, Ali Khan takes wickets, it is always helpful. I think we still have room for improvement. The wicket was a tricky. Our main objective was to get a comfortable victory. Ya, we tried to get the victory before the 10th over, our openers had started really well but I'm happy with the result."
Tom Kohler-Cadmore(Sharjah Warriors Captain)- "I think losing the wickets at crucial times have made us suffer. After those wicket loss, we couldn't really comeback. We have two more games left and we will bounce back. I thought the shuffling in the batting order will help us. With Livi(Liam Livingstone) coming in the top order, you can expect good things. I think our team is in a good form and we have to make sure that we execute the plans well. Facing spinners in the middle overs is going to be a key for us. We are struggling for 2-3 games so we have kept the net run rate secondary. We have to regroup now."

Time for the post match presentations.
22:37 IST and 21:07 Local Time | The Abu Dhabi Knight Riders have secured a thumping victory by 7 wickets and with 59 balls remaining and retains their number 2 spot in the points table with 10 points so far.

David Willey and Joshua Little bowled their entire four overs quota straight and they gave the initial breakthroughs to the Sharjah Warriors and they got reduced to 5 down after their spells. Niroshan Dickwella(4), Johnson Charles(1), Liam Livingstone(2), Tom Kohler-Cadmore(19) and Sean Williams(5)- failed miserably in the top order. It was Daniel Sams who added valuable 24 runs for his team and without his contribution with the bat, the scoreboard would have been more sorry-looking. James Fuller came in as a super-sub replacing Charles but he perished on 3. Adil Rashid added 10 runs to the team total and helped his team to post 75 on the board.

Joshua Little took 3 wickets and David Willey took 2 wickets in the opening spell but Ravi Bopara was the actual star of the bowling show taking 4 wickets, conceding only 15 runs. His change of pace was a real big deal for the Warriors batters and they got down there. Imad Wasim took a solitary wicket.

Coming to chase the run, the ADKR side got off to a flying start as Michael-Kyle Pepper and the super sub Joe Clarke batted superbly in the first 5 overs to post 54 runs on the board, Pepper got out scoring 18 runs off 16 balls by Jawadullah and Jawadullah removed the number 3 batter Alishan Sharafu for a duck soon after that. Joe Clarke, who came in as a super sub in place of Ali Khan batted for 25 balls and scored 34 runs hitting 6 boundaries. Sam Hain(9*) and Laurie Evans(3*) kept their calm and finished the game after that.

Muhammad Jawadullah was the lone wicket-taker for Sharjah Warriors picking up 3 wickets giving just 5 runs away!

Stay tuned for the post match presentations.
