That's it from our coverage of match number 13 in LLC season 2. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and scorer Raju Khariya. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Harbhajan Singh (Manipal Tigers Captain): "We knew it was a good wicket to chase. I have played here a lot. 175+ is chaseable. I think we bowled well and lost our chances as well. That can happen. It is a good pitch and we chased it down in the end.

Nice to have battles with KP and all other legends and I was lucky to get his wicket in the end. That happens.

Thisara was quite calm and was under the pump after Jammu. But he did well to keep calm and win the game for us. So, happy for him that he got us the win.

Yes, happy to be in the playoffs and going to the finals. But we are here to win games and win each and every game. If we do that, we hope we get the trophy that we are so desperately wanting. Hope to get the trophy."
Gautam Gambhir (India Capitals Captain): "When we lost 3 wickets in the powerplay we recovered very well. The opposition had to play proper cricket to chase it down. We were in the game until the penultimate over but credit goes to Manipal they played really really well.

We thought we were just one wicket away. These things can happen. When the bowlers are under pressure, this can happen but we back them to do the job.

It's one of the best pitches and outfield in the country. It is a high scoring venue, it has something for the bowlers as well. Some true bounce, movement and carry as well.

[On tomorrow's fixture] We don't think like that. We wish all the best to both the teams whoever plays well will win and we accept the result."
Colin de Grandhomme (Legend of the Match): "Looked like a decent score. Tough to bowl on that surface. Me and Amit got a partnership and that laid the platform for TP to finish it at the end.

This is a good batting pitch, we saw the India Australia game and it was high scoring as well. This pitch is better than the pitches in Jammu.

I keep it simple and play the ball to the merit and hit the balls hard and take ones or twos.

Happy to take the team into the last 4. Hope to finish in top 2."
Colin de Grandhomme is the legend of the match.
10:18 PM IST and Local Time: Time for the post-match presentations.
10:09 PM IST and Local Time: The Manipal Tigers become the second team to qualify for the playoffs in Legends League Cricket season 2, thanks to an absolute screamer of a win against India Capitals by 4 wickets in the final over.

Winning the toss, the Tigers sent India Capitals to bat first. Half century from debutant Bharat Chipli helped the Capitals to reach 186/9 with Pankaj Singh, Praveen Gupta and Imran Khan taking a couple of wickets each for Tigers.

Impact player Kyle Coetzer opened the chase in some fashion scoring 10 in 5 balls but was dismissed by KP Appanna on the first ball of his spell. Chadwick Walton (23 off 20) added 40 runs for the third wicket with Colin de Grandhomme but was sent back by Pravin Tambe just as the momentum was shifting towards the Tigers.

De Grandhomme played the anchor in a 62-run partnership with Amit Verma (48 off 32) and was dismissed scoring 58 in 35 balls by Ashley Nurse. De Grandhomme hit 3 fours and 4 sixes in his effort and Verma also played a good hand hitting 3 fours and as many sixes in crunch situation.

With Angelo Perera and Mohammed Kaif getting out in quick succession, Thisara Perera (31* off 16) and Imran Khan (8* off 5) took it upon themselves to chase the total down with 2 balls to spare scoring 7 runs off the final over.

KP Appanna, Isuru Udana, Ashley Nurse, Pravin Tambe and Hamish Bennett picked up a wicket apiece. The first three names were economical but the runs were flowing regularly off the other bowler's spells putting the India Capitals team on the verge of elimination.

Qualification scenario for Capitals: They have played all their matches, won only 1 with a washed out fixture. They have 3 points on the table equivalent to Southern Super Stars and now eliminated Bhilwara Kings. A better net run rate sees them standing at number 4. The team would want the Gujarat Giants to defeat Stars in the match being played tomorrow in order to get through the qualifiers.
Manipal Tigers get over the line and wins the game to qualify for the playoffs. They become the second team to qualify for the playoffs this season. They join the Urbanrisers Hyderabad in the playoffs.
19.5 I Udana to T Perera
1b Ben Dunk has foiled the party for India Capitals as they are almost eliminated from the contest. Earlier leaves a possible run out and now doesn't gather the ball. Short delivery angling back in. Perera swings and misses, Dunk drops it and Thisara runs across for a bye. Capitals win by 4 wickets!
Scores are level now with two balls remaining.
19.4 I Udana to T Perera
2 Full on the middle stump, Perera goes inside out and finds Kevin Pietersen at deep cover. He sends out a looped up throw to Ben Dunk, Perera runs hard despite struggling with the hamstring and makes it back for the 2nd.
19.3 I Udana to T Perera
2 Full on the leg stump, digs it out through midwicket. Call is for 2, Nurse from wide long on throws the ball towards Dunk but the ball lands right in front of him and bounces, 2 more runs added to the total. 3 needed in 3.
5 needed off 4 balls with Thisara Perera back on strike.
19.2 I Udana to I Khan
1 Full and outside off, widens the stance and hits hard past the diving cover fielder, another single bringing Thisara on strike. Brilliant from Gambhir to move to his right and put in the dive for that half stop. Much better fielder than some of the guys in the current Indian team.
19.1 I Udana to T Perera
1 Over the wicket. Aims the off stump yorker but Perera digs out to the left of long on. Gets a single, Imran to face Isuru Udana!
Udana is bowling the final over.
7 needed off the final 6 balls. This is Manipal Tigers' game to lose.
