That's it ladies and gentleman from the second Women's ODI between Bangladesh and Pakistan Women which turned out to be a thriller and the match won by Bangladesh in a super over after the match was tied. This is Ayan Chatterjee taking your leave alongside Deepak Prakash and Saptak Sanyal alongside scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS from us.
Nigar Sultana Joty(Player of the Match, Bangladesh Captain)- "Obviously it was a thrilling match and we, both the teams enjoyed it. I was not happy with 169, I think we were short of 30-40 runs. Our batting has been disappointing. I batted throughout but this is not the way how I bat. We lost a few wickets initially and we have to bat well. I think we kept the self belief that we can win the game and that kept us going. In the huddle, I said that this is our game and we should be at the present and bowl stump to stump."
Nida Dar (Pakistan Women Captain): "Yeah, we have to give credit to Bangladeshi players as they brought a lot of energy to the field. Yes, it was a very great contest, and I love the challenges like that. But still, this contest is not over yet. So we have another match.

[Speaking about her leg injury] It's not good. But as a captain of the team, I had to be on the pitch, and especially in a contest like that, it's always needed by me. So, yes, it will be okay for the next matches.

I guess. Yes, they are very energetic in the field and they wanted to win the match, so yes, all credit goes to the bowlers and the fielders as well.

Yes, we have some fielding lapses there, but still 160-170. It's not a big target. But still, as a batting unit, we have to take responsibility to complete the target. And, yes, we have another chance, so we'll come back stronger."
Nigar Sultana Joty goes to the gallery and is hugging her parents now. He has done it for her country. What an emotional moment we are witnessing here.
4:48 PM IST, 5:18 PM Local Time: What a game we have had here at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur Dhaka. A match that swung from one team to another and it ended in a low scoring thriller. The match ended in a tie and then we went to the Super Over which also went down to the wire. In the end, Nigar Sultana Joty holds her nerve and wins the game for Bangladesh to level the series 1-1 with a game to spare. Pakistan fought their hearts out and fell short by the barest of margins. The skipper of Bangladesh does it for her side.

Let's recap you all the drama that unfolded in Mirpur. Bangladesh Women won the toss and decided to bat first and it was a struggle against a disciplined bowling by Pakistan Women. Murshida Khatun went early for 12. Fargana Hoque Pinky looked good and battled it out for her 40 off 88 balls before being run out. Sobhana Mostary scored 16. Skipper Nigar Sultana held the innings together and scored an invaluable 54 off 104 balls. Fahima Khatun scored 16 off 17 balls. 5 extras given by the fielding side as Bangladesh Women ended with 169/9 in 50 overs.

From the bowling point of view, Sadia Iqbal and Nashra Sandhu picked up a couple of wickets apiece and gave nothing away to the batters. A wicket apiece for Diana Baig, skipper Nida Dar and Umm-e-Hani. The bowlers did well to restrict the opposition to 169.

Chasing 170 for the win, Pakistan started quietly against a disciplined Bangladesh bowling attack. Sadaf Shamas scored a laboured 29 off 83 balls while Sidra Ameen scored 22 off 43 balls. Aliya Riaz scored a good looking 21 off 28 balls. The skipper Nida Dar fought her injury on her legs and scored 27 off 47 balls. Iram Javed scored 15 off 31 balls. Najiha Alvi scored 22 off 32 balls. A crucial innings from her. Diana Baig scored 14 off 18 balls while Umm-e-Hani almost took her side home with 11 off 4 balls. 3 extras given by the fielding side as Pakistan ended with 169 in 49.5 overs to tie the game.

Excellent bowling from Bangladesh bowlers. Rabeya Khan was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/29 in 10 overs. A wicket apiece for Marufa Akter, Nahida Akter, Nishita Akter Nishi, and Fahima Khatun. There were run outs galore in the innings and in the end we went into the super over.

In the Super Over, Pakistan scored 7/2 in 5 balls and Bangladesh through Nigar Sultana Joty chased it down off the final ball to win the game in the Super Over. So, Bangladesh Women win in the Super Over and level the series at 1-1. The decider is on Friday with all to play for. Stay tuned for the presentations.

What a win for Bangladesh!! Nigar Sultana Joty does it for her team to close the thriller. Entire team is scampering at the middle and are celebrating the memorable victory.
0.6 N Sandhu to N Sultana
4 FOUR! Here we go! Unbelievable scenes here at Shere Bangla National Stadium! Celebration in the camp of Bangladesh Women and they are pumped up! Skipper finishes the game in style during the super-over to tie the series and take it to the decider. Joty, nerves of steel! She is very emotional here and she goes into the crowd section to meet her parents, tears in the eyes of Joty and her parents.

Let's have a look at the last ball of the match. Sandhu tossed it up on the stumps. Joty charged down the track and lofted it over the mid-off. There was no fielder in the deep, and the ball trickled away for four runs. The series is level at 1-1, and who would have thought this match would go all the way into the super over and Bangladesh Women would win the match by hitting a boundary off the last ball? A perfect game for cricket enthusiasts and it is a historic moment for Bangladesh Women as they beat Pakistan Women in the super over.
