So that marks the end of our coverage from the 7th game of the Super Smash T20 of this edition between Wellington Firebirds and Otago Volts. The Firebirds absolutely dominated the game and clinched a superb victory.

For now this is Saptak Sanyal, signing off on the behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and our scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Stay tuned to our network for the coverage of more matches across the globe.
Nick Kelly(Wellington Firebirds Captain)- "The ball was swinging quite a bit and it was getting low and I think that helped us. We saw that there was the swing and decided to attack by setting an aggressive field. The boys are going to have a golf session for relaxing. We are confident after the large win and our next game is against pretty strong District team and the boys will have to come back in this form."
Dean Foxcroft (Otago Volts Captain): "Tough to digest. Have to forget the game and put it in the backside quickly. We would have batted first no doubt about it. But we did not adjust to the conditions and lost the plot in the end. I think, if you look at it, we have to improve our batting and come back stronger in the next three days and comeback stronger. We have a game on New Year's day. Hope to come back stronger on that day and show what we are capable of."
Nathan Smith (Gamechanger of the Match): "It was really good. The ball was swinging and that helped me do well here. I got my back done and made me fitter and stronger. The ball was swinging and had to get it right in the end. Glad, I could do that and get the team the win."
Gamechanger of the Match: Nathan Smith.
