So, that's all from our coverage of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match between Mumbai and Meghalaya where Mumbai registered a comfortable victory.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal, signing off on the behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and our scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Stay tuned to our network to get the live updates of the coverage of more exciting cricket matches around the world.
13:26 IST and Local Time | Mumbai were the clear favorites from the start and they secured a comfortable victory by chasing the 66 run down with 62 balls and 9 wickets remaining.

Chasing the paltry 66 run target, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Angkrish Raghuvanshi were on attacking mode right from the start. Somehow they scored just 8 from the first two overs. But then, Jaiswal hit three boundaries in the third over to bolster the run rate. Mumbai was going well and was maintaining a run rate of 7 when Jaiswal fell trying to heave the opposition captain Rajesh Bishnoi's tossed up delivery straight. He scored a 14 ball 21 before leaving the crease.

Ajinkya Rahane, the skipper then joined Angkrish Raghuvanshi at the crease and he was watchful from the start. Raghuvanshi scored a few boundaries and hit the only maximum of the game. In the end, the chase was a cakewalk for the experienced Mumbai team. Angkrish Raghuvanshi stayed unbeaten on 32 off 31 balls hitting 3 boundaries and a six. Ajinkya Rahane was unbeaten on 8.

Earlier coming to bat first, Meghalaya boarded only 65, thanks to a good 20 run knock by Anish Charak. Akash Choudhary scored 11 runs and they were the only batters to score double-digit scores.

For Mumbai, Tushar Deshpande was the star bowler picking up three wickets. He was well accompanied by his vice-captain Shams Mulani who scalped two wickets. Tanush Kotian and Shivam Dube shared two wickets between them.
Ajinkya Rahane guides the ball towards backward point and scores the winning run. Mumbai wins the game comfortably with 62 balls and 9 wickets remaining. This will boost their net run rate for sure!
