So, India take an unassailable lead in the series. The final Test will be played in Dharamsala and it will be begin on March 7. England will be looking to finish the series on a high.

On that note, our coverage for this Test comes to a close. I'm Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer Bishal Mandal. Bye Bye. Good day.
Dhruv Jurel (Player of the Match): "I try to play according to the situation. In the last innings, some runs were needed because we had to bat last. I thought I'll try to score some runs as we won't be chasing much.

The partnership was needed and I played with tailenders who played really well. Credit must go to them for the way they played.

Obviously, it was a great experience to face Anderson. I have seen him bowl on TV and the plan was to play according to the merit of the ball.

Me and Gill set small targets of 10-10 runs. We decided to put a partnership to keep them away from the win."
Player of the Match: Dhruv Jurel
Rohit Sharma (India Captain): "It's been a very hard-fought series, without a doubt. And to come on the right side of it at the end of four Test matches feels really, really good. Really out of everyone in the dressing room, there were a lot of challenges thrown at us. But I thought we responded pretty well to different challenges in different Test matches. I thought we were quite composed in what we wanted to achieve and what we wanted to do on the field, and yeah, very happy.

All the hard work that they have done in the past, in the growing up years, coming through the whole circuit of playing domestic cricket, playing the local club cricket and performing there and then coming here, obviously, it's a big challenge to play Test match cricket. We all know that but these guys when I look at them when I talk to them, the responses that I get from them is quite, you know, my job and Rahul bhai's job is to make sure that we give them the environment that they want to be in and they don't feel too much about going out there and getting the job done. They want to get the job done, but there is no point of keep talking to them about it or reminding them about it because when they come here, they are very clear about what they want to do.

Jurel, especially playing his second game, showed solid composure, and calmness as well, and got the shots as well. The guys played all-round the wicket. In the first innings, 90 of his was very, very crucial for us to get close to that target, close to that first inning runs that England got, and then obviously again in the second inning, showed a lot of maturity, a lot of composure as well, along with Gill.

Yeah, absolutely. I think it's always not pleasing when you miss your key players. But again, there's nothing we can do as a group. Those guys are proven players in all sorts of conditions. And to come and fill their shoes. Obviously to these guys was not easy. There was pressure from the outside, not inside. But I thought they responded very well in all the situations. Like I said at the start, in all the situations that were thrown at them, they responded pretty well. And then obviously when you make a mark like that you hold yourself in a good position. But again, the performances like this obviously will motivate them. And make sure that whenever the opportunity comes these guys are ready for it.

Yeah, without a doubt. We turn up to every Test match thinking that we want to win no matter where we stand or what has happened in the past. Obviously, this was a great series that we played. The four games that we played. Still, one more to go but we want to make sure that we turn up well in that game as well and try and put our best foot forward. Obviously playing a five-Test match series for some of these guys, they were not used to it. But guys have shown a lot of calmness and a lot of composure around it. So pretty confident that we put up the same kind of show. What we did in these last three test matches, even Hyderabad, I think we played well, fell a little short there. For us, nothing changes. We will still go with that same ambition of making sure that we do all things right and make sure we take it from them."
Smart saver of the Match: James Anderson
Great strike of the Match: Yashasvi Jaiswal
Apne liye apno ke liye award: Kuldeep Yadav
Game changer of the Match: Joe Root
Ben Stokes (England Captain): "Yeah. Look, it was a great Test match. If you look at the scoreboard, it says India won by five wickets but it doesn't quite say what it went throughout the five days. Tom Hartley bowled very well and to get exposure very early in your career, it was great. I couldn't be more prouder of those two young spinners.

That's the way I'm as a person and as a captain. Allowing the freedom to take every ball as an occasion and not think what is going to happen next. India are a pretty intimidating side at home and I just backed my bowlers to do their thing. We are great fans of Test cricket and I feel future of Test cricket is good.

We have been good in periods. When we had the turn with the bat, I don't want to say impossible because everything is possible. But against Ashwin, Jadeja and Kuldeep on these kind of surfaces is difficult. That little period was very tough for us.

Joe Root incredible knock. I know he has stuck a fair bit of criticism. I don't think it was right. He has played a lot of games and scored close to 12,000 runs. He knows what to do. Also, Shoaib coming in without much experience and picking up eight wickets in Test was great.

You come into the series to win. I have come here for two years and my message always is to be consistent. Everyone has given everything on the field and that's what matters to us."
2:01 PM IST: Time for the post-match presentation....
Shubman Gill: "You know, we were put under pressure by them, but I think we got a good start as well by our openers. And then obviously on a wicket like this, when you lose a couple of wickets, obviously there is some pressure. But I think the way Jurel came in, we had a good partnership in the end.

Yeah, I think this would probably go down as my only inning where I didn't hit a boundary like a four after scoring a 50. But you have to see the situation and you have to play the situation sometimes.

And I think the way their bowlers were bowling, they were bowling really good lines and they had also been protecting their boundaries pretty well. So it was important for us to just keep taking the game and not let the bowlers bowl too many maidens because then on a wicket like this, you are waiting for a magical ball to happen to you. So that was the plan, keep taking the singles, and as soon as they give us anything loose try to pounce on that.

Yeah, I just told him(Jurel)  that you batted beautifully in the first inning. Just have the same mindset. And to the off-spinners, we have this plan. We're gonna look to step down to them and play them because then the lbw is out of the game. And I think the way he came down and rotated the strike was beautiful.

Yeah, in the first innings as well. The ball was not turning much, so I didn't step out much. And the ball, which I got out in the first innings, hit the crack and it spun sharply.

And in the second inning, I just thought I would take lbw out of the game by just stepping out. And then it's one of those things which I have actually practiced a lot. Step out and play for the singles or defend, because generally when you're stepping out, you're always looking for the big shot. But I think if you can step out and you have this game where you can step out and defend or look for the single, I think it really helps on wickets like these.

Coming here, having to play the series with not much batting experience in the batting lineup. Having lost KL bhai after the first Test match. Obviously, there were some nerves going into the Test matches, but Rohit Bhai backed us and gave us the confidence to go out and play with freedom."
