That's it from our coverage of the T20I series between India and Australia. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshaya Krishna Polya and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Here comes the silverware!! The Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav collects the trophy, poses with it and now its time for the whole Indian team to celebrate a well earned series win!

9 - Ravi Bishnoi vs Australia (5 matches, 2023)*
Lowest win margins (by runs) in India v Australia T20Is:

15 runs - India, Durban, 2007
Suryakumar Yadav (India Captain): "Yeah, I think, I mean, it was a good series in the end. To win it 4-1, I think, the boys have done well. Absolutely, we wanted to be fearless and I told them to play freely as they would normally. I told them to enjoy ourselves when we were in the middle. So, very happy with that.

If he (Washington Sundar) had been there, it'd have been an add-on.

It was a tricky wicket to bat on. I have seen the games where the first innings score was 200-220 have been easy to chase down. The score of 160-170 was just about par. At the halfway through the second innings, I said to the boys, we have a game on."
Ravi Bishnoi (Player of the Series): "The first match didn't go according to the plan but I am trying to execute what I plan. It came off in other matches but not in the first game. Worked on the execution in the nets with Sairaj sir and other coaches.

My plan is simple. Bowling wicket to wicket is advantageous. Not too toss it up and bowl short of a length. If the batter hits from there, I am fine with it. If I pitch it up, you must have seen today, I got hit for a couple of big hits.

I wanted to look like a typical leg spinner having long off and mid on in place, nothing much behind it.

South Africa has different conditions and challenges, I will try to continue the same bowling and perform well there as well."
Ravi Bishnoi is the player of the series.
Axar Patel (POTM): "Thank you, thank you! It was fun bowling out today, as there was no dew factor coming into play. There was full dew in the first four matches, but tonight, as soon as the first ball spun, I knew that it was my wicket and had a laugh inside myself.

Coming after a break, I wanted some time out in the middle with the bat. After a couple of games, I got into the rhythm.

I did bowl with him (Ravi Bishnoi) playing for Gujarat in a couple of matches. We complement each other, hope this partnership grows."

Matthew Wade (Australia Captain): "Tied around in my head after not being able to get the team over the line but we bowled relatively well. We put them to a total that probably would have been chased on this ground. Disappointing last 5 or 6 overs. If we had a couple of batters in it would have been a different story.

Projecting to the World cup, my role is going to be down the order with Tim David and Marcus Stoinis to keep us there in the death, keep the camaraderie together so in the last 3 positions. My job is to get the team home in situations like tonight.

3-2 would have been a great result. We played some really good cricket, got outplayed at times but we learn a lot with some guys come in and playing international cricket in tough conditions. Ben McDermott bounced back from his first game to second game tonight, he's improved. We are looking for younger players to get opportunity and guys like Jason Behrendorff, Dwarshuis, all those guys came in, Sangha; had an impact in the series but playing in India with white ball gets quite difficult."
