Time to wrap up our coverage from the second T20I of the ongoing series between New Zealand Women and Pakistan Women. Pakistan Women defeated the hosts by 10 runs and clinched a series victory with a match remaining in the series.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on the behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and our scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal. Have a nice day, CHEERS!
Teams to win a Bilateral Women's T20I Series against New Zealand Women:

Australia Women🇦🇺
England Women🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Pakistan Women🇵🇰
Deepak: Pakistan Women became the first Asian team to win a T20I series in New Zealand. Also, this is their first-ever series win against White Ferns in white ball cricket.
Nida Dar (Pakistan Women Captain): "It's not bad. It was stretching but I am ok now. It's special to win against the White Ferns in New Zealand. I am proud of my girls. We know our role clarity and it's working well for us. The girls are up for it and the way they played was amazing. I think we were 20 runs short. But the way we bowled was incredible. Hats off to them. Yes, we have been good tactically and want to get better at a few things. We are looking forward to the next series and next game and we want to continue the winning momentum going forward. Thank you and see you in Queenstown."
Sophie Devine (New Zealand Women Captain): "Yes, certainly think so. We lost our way and Rowe and Plimmer got us close but as batters we need to look at how we can get better. Credit to Pakistan they deserve the win. I thought we reasonably did well with the ball but left a few on the field. Molly bowled well and we know what she is capable of. We have to go back to the drawing board. A lot of cricket left to be played for us. Hope to come back soon."
Aliyah Riaz (Player of the Match): "Thank You so much. The wicket was good and I enjoyed batting here. Definitely, my role is clear. When I come in, I have to bat long and finish the innings quickly. Thanks to Allah and happy to win the series today. Looking forward to Queenstown."
08:35 IST and 16:05 Local Time | Pakistan Women clinched a series victory with a match remaining in the 3-match T20 series. They defeats the hosts, New Zealand by 10 runs in the Suzie Bates Oval today.

Pakistan Women side came to bat first and posted 137 on the board. Their opener Muneeba Ali batted well for her 35 run innings off 28 balls with 6 boundaries. Although the visitors lost their opener Shawaal Zulfiqar early in the innings, Muneeba and Bismah Maroof steadied the ship with a partnership/ Maroof scored 21 and at the time of her dismissal, Pakistan lost a few wickets in quick succession. But the condition was well recovered, all thanks goes to Aliya Riaz. Who scored 32 off 22 balls with 3 boundaries and a solitary maximum.

Molly Penfold was the star of the show with two wickets and Fran Jonas also scalped a couple of wickets to restrict Pakistan to 137 for 6.

Coming to chase the run, the White Ferns lost wickets at a regular interval. They lost Bernadine Bezuidenhout and Amelia Kerr early and then in the final over of the powerplay, they lost Sophie Devine and the legendary Suzie Bates. After that, Georgia Plimmer tried to recover the innings and she played a knock 28 facing the same number of balls. Maddy Green showed some resistance on her way to score 18 off 23 balls. Hannah Rowe batted brilliantly in the death overs and scored 33 off 24 balls and got bowled by Fatima Sana in the final over. Lea Tahuhu also tried her best and remained unbeaten for 13 off 9 balls but the kiwis lost the game by 10 runs.

Fatima Sana was magnificent for the Pakistan side, she took 3 wickets for 22 runs. Sadia Iqbal provided some early breakthroughs and took a couple of wickets. The other Pakistani bowlers were economical, specially Nida Dar and Nashra Sandhu. They bowled brilliantly through the middle overs.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentations.

19.6 F Sana to M Penfold
1 Short of a length into the pitch, Penfold pulls it away to deep midwicket for a single to end the game. That's it. History made yet again in Dunedin as Pakistan win this game and with it the series with a game to spare. The celebrations have begun and they are absolutely delighted. Heartbreak and agony for New Zealand yet again.
The equation is down to only a legal ball for the Pakistan girls!!
19.5 F Sana to M Penfold
0 Fuller length angling in around off, Penfold swings and misses to the keeper. That's it. Pakistan will take victory now.
Can Molly Penfold be the star? Kiwis need two maximums from her bat.
