Tahlia McGrath (Adelaide Strikers Captain): "I'm gonna use my quote from last year because it's still the same: It was pretty bloody special.

We called it last year, we were sitting in the change room, we are not done we are going to win back to back. We had determination all year. This is a proper team without any egos. We know our roles, we show up day in and day out and it's a lot of fun playing with this bunch.

That was crazy from the crowd, they were up and about. Adelaide fans are the best, Karen Rolton, Adelaide Oval, we were undefeated at home this season because of you guys so hats off to the crowd.

Lots of respect for Brisbane Heat. Every single time we play against Brisbane Heat, its a quality game and tonight was no different. Congratulations guys for a really good season, we will be looking forward to play you next season.

These are special 6 weeks that we all enjoy. It is the best tournament in the World. I thank Cricket Australia, all the sponsors and a massive thank you to the crowd. We love you all here. Thanks to Brisbane Heat for an awesome match and to my team, especially Luke who leads the team. We love our coach."
The Adelaide Strikers Women are receiving their winners medals.
Jess Jonassen (Brisbane Heat Women Skipper): "Yeah. I mean obviously credit to the Adelaide crowd for coming out tonight and making it a spectacle. Congrats to Tahlia for going back-to-back which isn't easy. I'm super proud of the girls. Just keep your heads high and we'll come back stronger next year.

We have got the support of some 30 guys who have come out in support of us. They were also there in Perth supporting us and it means a lot. Also, a big thank you to our CEO and the sponsors. Without their support, it wouldn't have been possible for us. Also, a big thank you to the Adelaide crowd for coming out in number."
Amanda-Jade Wellington (Player of the Final): "What a game! Brisbane Heat have been the ones to beat all year, that game tells us how well they have played. One more shoutout to the crowd. This has been just amazing playing in front of this crowd. It is electrifying and the crowd erupting in the end was just an amazing feeling."
Player of the Final: Amanda-Jade Wellington

Jemma Barsby: "I really can’t believe what just happened. You can see how much it means to us. I’m just proud of the group and happy to see what we have done tonight."

Nicole Bolton (Assistant coach of Adelaide Strikers Women): "Finally, I get to touch the trophy (laughs). It was worse sitting in the dugout as I can’t do anything. The girls were brilliant and just got the job done. Really happy and proud."

Anesu Mushangwa: "It’s gonna take a while to process. The heartbeat is still beating. It was a great game. We fought till the end as a group and happy to win. My teammates kept pumping me up and forget what happened. Forget what happened and focus on what is next. It’s exciting and a dream come true for me. I was always hoping to be a part of this group and I was always praying for this, wishing for this and so happy right now."
