So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj, Ayan Chatterjee and our scorer for the game, Ashok. Do stay tuned and follow our coverage of the final WBBL league game of the season between Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder. Until next time, it is a warm good-bye!
Tahlia McGrath (Player of the Match and Captain): "Yes, really happy. Found some good form with the team. We are peaking and now looking forward to Saturday. I am happy we will get rest.

The schedule has been hectic and the tournament has been enjoyable for us. We will have a couple of days off. Then a bit debriefing session and hits here and there.

The other matches we will see how it goes. And then hope for the best. Yes, that's the plan and we want to go back to back."

A disappointing chase from Hobart Hurricanes as the table-toppers Adelaide Strikers continue to show why they have been the best team in this competition. A solid 77-run win to wrap up their league campaign with almost every player contributing to the result.

The batters set-up the victory by posting a healthy 164-3 on the board with Laura Wolvaardt top-scoring through a steady 73-run knock. The onus was on Hobart Hurricanes to show intent during the chase as they needed a big win to stay in contention for the play-offs. The start was pretty good as the duo of Lizelle Lee and Elyse Villani looked in good touch with the Strikers’ bowlers also struggling with their lines. However, Megan Schutt had Lee caught-behind in the fourth over and that started a collapse. Tahlia McGrath was the wrecker-in-chief with three scalps while Anesu Mushangwe and Jemma Barsby also chipped in with a couple of wickets each. In the end, it proved to be an easier victory than what even the Strikers would have hoped for.

W WICKET! IN THE AIR AND TAKEN AT LONG-ON! Flighted delivery and in the slot, Gibson goes for the big one and gets the height and not the distance. Danielle Gibson takes the catch at long-on as Maisy Gibson is the last batter to be dismissed. Jemma Barsby gets the final wicket. So, 87 all out in 16 overs. The Strikers win by 77 runs.
15.5 J Barsby to S Ismail
1lb Good length angling in straight, Ismail looks to defend and wears it on the pads for a leg bye.
Umpire referral for a stumping here. Did Patterson have the ball in hand while dislodging the stumps? Seems like the gloves broke the wood-work. The TV umpire also thinks the same and gives a 'NOT-OUT' decision.
15.4 J Barsby to S Ismail
0 Flighted delivery, Ismail comes down the track and misses to the keeper. Patterson fumbles and may have still got the stumping here. Umpire's review has been called in. The ball goes to the keeper and she might have knocked down the stumps with the gloves. Yes, the gloves have broken the stumps and so, this will be NOT OUT. Ismail survives and we carry on.
15.3 J Barsby to S Ismail
