So, that's it for this game, everyone. We hope you enjoyed this live coverage. Do switch tabs and follow the live coverage of the second semi-final of the Men's ODI World Cup from Kolkata between South Africa and Australia. For now, on behalf of Soumarya Dutta and scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal, this is Navjeevan Rajput signing off.
Beth Mooney ,Player of the Match- "We were looking at 200 there but we fell a bit short in the end. The bowlers did a great job though and got us home easily. I've got a great relationship with the leadership group and I've been given a clear message as to how to go hard early on. I'm happy with the way I've been going. I needed some rest after the batting innings and therefore it was good to leave the gloves. It was trying to bring in some innovation into my game and might as well have tried the reverse sweep but happy that we got to 190 in the end. Cleary and Smith have been outstanding for us in the field. We came into this game with a clear head and hopefully we can continue with this form."
13:01 IST, 18:31 Local Time: A comfortable win for the Scorchers today. With this win, they extended their lead at the top of the ladder. On the other hand, the Sixers stay stuck on fifth with this loss, and their chances of making it into the finals week diminish even further.

After being put into bat, the Scorchers were able to post 189 runs on the board courtesy of Mooney (91*), Sciver-Brunt (26) and Jones (28). Defending their total, their bowlers did not allow the Sixers to play freely and took wickets regularly. They got wickets in clusters at the backend and bundled out the Sixers for 128 runs. King, Edgar, and Ainsworth got a couple of wickets each for the Scorchers, while Cleary and Peschel got a wicket each.

Deciding to bowl first today, the Sixers looked like they could contain the Scorchers to a minimum score, but it wasn't meant to be. Only Gardner and Perry could get into the wickets for them, as they got a couple each. In an attempt to chase down a stiff target, it was Perry (40) once again who kept her side in this run-chase, but she couldn't find any support from others. Wickets tumbled, and they were knocked over just inside their 20 overs.
19.3 Edgar to K Peterson
W Edgar gets her wicket and Peterson is gone. The final wicket falls and the Scorchers clinch a comprehensive win here. It was bowled outside the off stump and Peterson tried to play the slog sweep. She mistimed it and Mooney held on to an easy catch at square leg.
19.2 Edgar to L Cheatle
1 Low full toss and it has  been hit down to long off for a single.
19.1 Edgar to K Peterson
1 This one has been worked into the deep for a single on the off side.
