Dasun Shanaka (Galle Titans Captain): "Yaa, comprehensive performance by the team. Especially Tim Seifert and Shakib the way they played in the middle. They showed intent and added runs on the board when we were struggling. The local lads can learn a lot from their experience. It's all about the intent with which u play, Seifert played with intent and got runs under his gloves."
Wanindu Hasaranga (B-Love Kandy Captain): "Of course, we haven't played our best cricket and we need to pull up our socks. These two games, we haven't played at our best game and lost wickets at regular intervals and we paid the price. No pressure at all. Nothing to lose for us and we are hoping to bounce back here and hope to do well in Kandy. Very disappointed with the performance today."
Tim Seifert (Player of the Match): "Yaa, got off to the flight yesterday. It's hard to get adapted to new weather. Not a nice day yesterday but yaa got off to a good start today. The target was to charge the bowlers and play the natural game and add quick runs on the board. The pitch was good fro the batters, the partnership with Shakib Al Hasan was good and that changed the momentum."

Chasing a stiff target of 181 for an improbable win, B-Love Kandy never got going and lost wickets at regular intervals. Chandimal fell in the first over and things went downhill from there. Dabare got into double figures. Ashen Bandara got into double figures as he top scored with 27 off 19 balls. Isuru Udana scored 16 off 12 balls. The rest of the batters fell away and incurred single digit scores as they were bundled out for 97 in 17.1 overs.
A great bowling performance from Galle Titans. All the bowlers that bowled picked up atleast a wicket. A couple of wickets apiece for Kasun Rajitha, Richard Ngarava, Tabraiz Shamsi and Shakib Al Hasan. A wicket for Akila Dananjaya and Lahiru Samarakoon. A great performance by them.

But then it was the Tim Seifert show as he took the attack to the cleaners. He scored a breath-taking 74 off 39 balls as this was the fastest fifty in the Lanka Premier League. Shakib Al Hasan supported him with his 30 off 21 balls. The duo of Tim Seifert and Shakib Al Hasan literally took the game away and they scored 180/5 in 20 overs which was way above par on this pitch.

W That's it for the Kandy inning and the Titans win the match by mammoth 83 runs. Tossed up delivery outside off. Hasnain goes for the big shot and gets the top edge straight up in the air. Rajitha goes for the catch at the mid-off and takes it very easily. Titans go well up at the top of the table with this win and Kandy will have to stay on the last of the table with back-to-back loss.
