That's all from our side then! This is Soumarya Dutta signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Anirudh Modi and our Scorer/ Analyst, Paras Yadav. See you soon!
Xavier Bartlett | Player of the Match: "It was an unbelievable game of cricket, the crowd was fantastic and really happy we got the win. We were just trying to take wickets of their top 7 batters and we knew wickets early were key and happy we could do that. I am always trying my best to bowl and just the adrenaline helps you contribute. It was drizzling and the pitch got quicker, we decided to bowl back of length as it was difficult to bat there, stick to your length and reap your rewards."
17:15 IST, 21:45 Local time-  The Brisbane Heat have created history here at the iconic Gabba and they've managed to pull off this game by the  "barest of margins". They've  won six games in a row now and they plucked this game out from the jaws of defeat and won it by a solitary run. The Hobart Hurricanes end up with 116/9 in 16 overs.

The Hurricanes had gotten off to a disastrous start initially as they lost four wickets in the powerplay itself. Xavier Bartlett wrecked havoc in one over as he got rid of Wright and Hain while Caleb Jewell and the big Kiwi Corey Anderson had also fallen cheaply. The rain came down at that stage and reduced the game to a 16 over contest but it seemed like that the visitors were out of the game.

Nikhil Chaudhary put on an excellent partnership with Ben McDermott first as the pair negated the threat posed initially by the loss of wickets. Nikhil was the aggressor as he took on the seamers down the ground, while Ben played second fiddle. Once the latter was gone, the hard hitting Tim David joined him at the crease and the duo did some damage together as the target was brought within the reach of Hurricanes.

Spencer Johnson came back into the attack to pick up a couple of wickets but Chaudhary smashed a few big ones to get to his first BBL fifty. The Heat looked down and out at that stage but they kept believing and kept chipping away at the wickets. Paul Walter was thumped for a huge maximum in the last over but he held his nerve to pick up the wicket of Chaudhary and then didn't allow Ellis and Dooley to score 4 runs from the remaining three balls. The Hurricanes would feel that they let the game slip from their hands and the Heat will be ecstatic with this win.

15.6 P Walter to N Ellis
1W Walter wins it! Around the wicket, slow and low full toss, on the off stump, driven to mid-off to pick up a single, Dooley wants a second but Ellis denies and the fielder is quick to throw it to the striker's end and affect a run-out! The umpires refer it upstairs and he is caught short of his mark! Brisbane Heat win 6 games in a row for the first time in their history! They take the game and the points by a solitary run!
This is unbelievable drama out there in the middle! Hurricanes need 3 runs from the  final ball and all three results are possible.
15.5 P Walter to P Dooley
1 Just a single! Excellent from Walter! Over the wicket, full length delivery, slower one outside the off stump, driven straight back and Walter stops it from his foot to allow only for a quick single! Last ball to come and 3 runs needed!
15.4 P Walter to N Ellis
1 Skipper Ellis is off the mark! Good length delivery, slower one on the stumps, Ellis with a drop and run to backward point.

15.3 P Walter to N Chaudhary
W WICKET! CAUGHT! And the match turns once more! Walter dismisses the well set Chaudhary! Slower bouncer, on the stumps, Chaudhary with a wild hook gets a top edge to fly towards short fine but Billings has ample of time to run and settle underneath to take a simple catch and complete the dismissal! 5 runs needed off the last 3 deliveries now!
15.2 P Walter to N Chaudhary
2 Full length delivery, on the off stump, lifts it inside out over mid-off but the fielder gives it a good chase to keep it down to a couple.
Maiden fifty in the BBL from Nikhil Chaudhary, the man from Punjab and he has turned this game on it's head once again. They need 7 runs from five balls now.
15.1 P Walter to N Chaudhary
6 SIX! A blockbuster start to the over! Chaudhary reaches his half-century but he knows the job is not done yet! 7 runs needed off last 5 balls after this! Around the wicket, good length delivery, slower one on the stumps, Chaudhary uses all his might to deposit it over the deep square boundary to reach his maiden BBL 50!
This game is turning out to be a humdinger. The Hurricanes  need 13 runs to win from the final over  now and Chaudhary is their last hope.
