Milestone
That's it from the coverage of this game. This is Vikhyat Jain, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Sourya Chowdhury, and scorer of the game, Ashok Dayma. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Until next time, Tada!!!
Rassie van der Dussen: "They have got world-class bowlers in their lineup and also have some experienced international players."
Zaman Khan redeems himself and wins it for Toronto here with his terrific last-over bowling. So, Toronto Nationals starts their season with a win here, a convincing win rather. After Munro's mayhem, the Toronto bowlers were spot-on with their execution. Breaking into the batting unit of Vancouver early on, Toronto strangled the Knights for runs. The required run rate kept creeping up but Rassie did not give up as he had differing plans for the chase. He came and smacked everything that came his way. At one stage when he was going bonkers, the distance seemed to be well within the reach of the Knights but it wasn't the case. His blitzkrieg of 51 off just 24 balls just wasn't enough for his team to get past the finish line and in the end, the Nationals won by 9 runs in a rain-curtailed game.

Apart from Rassie, Fakhar Zaman, Vriitya Aravind, and Fabian Allen got some good starts but couldn't get the big one.
