That concludes our coverage as well. We had an enthralling contest and TSK sneaked away with a victory to seal their berth for the playoffs.
For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Prince Suman along with scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. CHEERS!
Faf du Plessis (Texas Super Kings Captain): "Incredible game. Sams, that knock is fantastic on that pitch. It's amazing to come here from India and do this. He had outstanding poise. For us, that partnership was essential. You feel really confident after a victory like this."
Aaron Finch (San Francisco Unicorns Captain): "It was an outstanding performance from Sams. For the majority of the game, we executed our plans effectively, but in T20 cricket, there are moments when it requires that one exceptional effort to turn the tide in our favor."
Daniel Sams (Player of the match): "Yeah, I was just trying to watch the ball and hit it if it's in my range. The wicket is a bit slow and inconsistent so you had to get used to it. Luckily we managed to bounce back despite being on the back foot."
Milind Kumar: "I am happy that I am contributing to my runs. Earlier, I used to get out quickly, so the team management promoted me to bat up in the order. They showed their belief in me, and I lived up to their belief. It feels incredible, and I don't feel like I am away from India."

6:15 AM IST, 8:45 PM Local Time | Deepak: What a game of cricket we have had here at  Church Street Park, Morrisville. The pendulum swung to and fro but eventually rested in favor of TSK. With this win, TSK move to the second spot in the points table and also they secured their playoff spot.

Earlier, after deciding to bat first, San Francisco Unicorns posted a formidable 171 runs at the end of 20 overs. The Aussie southpaw Wade was the top scorer for the Unicorns, as he scored 49 runs, while Chaitanya Bishnoi contributed 35 runs, helping his side cross the 170-run mark. Gerald Coetzee shone with the ball for TSK as the right-arm speedster bagged 4 wickets for 31 runs in 4 overs.

In pursuit of the Unicorns’ 171 runs, TSK got off to a shaky start as they lost Faf and Cody Chetty in a jiffy and were reeling at 11/2 in the second over. Devon Conway tried to steady the ship, but he departed after contributing 30 runs off 27 balls. Following the wicket of Conway, TSK lost another couple of wickets in a jiffy, they lost Miller and Santner for a mere 10 and 7 runs, respectively.

TSK were in deep trouble, and the required run rate was creeping up, but then came the havoc from Milind Kumar and Daniel Sams, as the duo thwarted Unicorns bowlers all around the park and reduced the equation to 14 runs off 3 overs. Sams was the primary aggressor among the duo as the right-hander smashed three back-to-back sixes to Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan and turned the tide of the game completely. Milind, who struggled to time the ball at the beginning, found his rhythm and went on to complete his half-century on the occasion.

However, the game took another U-turn from here as TSK lost both set batters Milind (52 off 42) and Sams (42 off 18) quickly and the equation came down to 8 runs off 8 balls with three wickets in hand. Calvin Savage hammered a maximum in the last ball of the penultimate over to level the score, and eventually, TSK chased down this total by 3 wickets with 5 balls to spare.

On the bowling front, Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan bagged a couple of wickets for Unicorns, while Carmi le Roux, Liam Plunkett, and Marcus Stoinis contributed one wicket.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation.

The game is not over yet. Stoinis draws the big wicket of Sams and the match is getting intense now. 8 needed off 8 balls now.
18.4 M Stoinis to D Sams
W WICKET!! In the air and taken! Sams departs! Length ball on the middle stump line. Sams looks to heave it over the mid-wicket but doesn't connect it well as the ball goes straight into the hands of mid-wicket fielder who takes it easily.
18.3 M Stoinis to D Sams
0 Again dot ball! Fuller and outside off. Sams pushes it to point region for none.
