Milestone
That brings an end to our coverage for this game. Do join us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Anirudh Modi and scorer Zeeshan Naiyer. Tata. Bye Bye.
Moises Henriques (Washington Freedom Captain): "I still thought at the toss that because the game started half an hour before, the dew won't play a big part. It wasn't an easy wicket to bat on. If we look back, we will find 10-15 more runs there.

Maybe we didn't adjust to the conditions quickly. I think we could have selected smarter options. But to get to 130 was good. We knew if we could bowl well in the powerplay and keep them under pressure, we would win.

If Saurabh hadn't taken 6/9, Phillips was the Player of the Match for me every day of the week.
His effort with the bat was done and he was charging on the field trying to contribute to the team. It was amazing to see."
Aaron Finch (San Francisco Unicorns Captain): "Our bowlers executed quite well, anywhere between 120-140 was a reasonable score. It was always going to be a tough chase well. It gets very dark, for a long time it's hard to see and it's not ideal for batting, bowling and fielding. The wicket deteriorated and slowed up. After we lost 4 wickets, we thought we could get a partnership, the dot balls didn't help and it did not create any pressure, that's where we lost the plot."
Saurabh Netravalkar (Player of the Match): "Not sunk in yet. But really thankful for this opportunity. The team has created a great environment and I'm enjoying my time here. The mentality is not to give up till the last ball. I wasn't thinking about the hat-trick. I was just trying to hit the right area and was helped by fielders, with Glenn Phillips taking incredible catches."
Player of the Match: Saurabh Netravalkar
Glenn Phillips (Washington Freedom): "It's about every time, giving your hundred percent. I’m really working hard on my fielding in the last few years. Especially, when you haven’t scored runs in the first innings, you have to step up in the field and give your best for the boys. A great all-around effort from the boys. To take a five against a side that has a formidable lineup in this big tournament will be great for him and also will be for USA Cricket. The boys are stoked after this incredible win."
6:04 AM IST, 8:34 PM Local Time: That’s it. A solid performance from Washington Freedom sees them blow away the San Francisco Unicorns. Defending a below-par total, the bowlers stepped up and did a fine job to defend the total successfully and win the game by 30 runs. Saurabh Netravalkar led the bowling attack and he registered astonishing figures of 6/9 in his 3.5 overs. With this win, Freedom have moved to the second spot in the points table and inch closer to the playoffs.

Chasing 134, the San Francisco Unicorns got off to a disastrous start. Netravalkar wreaked havoc in the Unicorns’ camp as he cleaned up Marcus Stoinis (3) and Shadab Khan (0) with two beauties after Glenn Phillips took an incredible catch to dismiss Finn Allen (13) in the second over. Matthew Wade tried to break free but fell on eight as they were 33/4 at the end of the fielding restrictions.

Corey Anderson was joined by his skipper Aaron Finch and both led the recovery work. The Washington Freedom bowlers bowled beautifully in the middle overs as the boundaries dried up. Finch struggled for timing and fell on a 28-ball 14. Anderson tried hard and scored a run-a-ball 34 but it wasn’t enough as the Unicorns got bundled out on 103 to lose the game by 30 runs. Netravalakar was the standout bowler for Freedom. He picked up six wickets and gave away only nine runs in his 3.5 overs. He bowled 16 dot balls.

Earlier, Finch, San Francisco Unicorns skipper won the toss and opted to bowl first. They had a wonderful start with the ball as they picked quick wickets and didn’t allow the Freedom batters to get away. Andries Gous scored 23 at the top of the order but his departure resulted in a mini-collapse as they reeled at 33/4 at the end of the powerplay.

Skipper Moises Henriques along with Obus Pienaar tried to resurrect the innings but the latter fell on 30. Pienaar struggled for timing before falling on a 28-ball 29 while trying to up the ante. Marco Jansen remained unbeaten on 19 to take his side to 133 at the end of their 20 overs. The Unicorns were brilliant with the ball throughout their innings. They picked up eight wickets in total, with Haris Rauf finishing with figures of 3/20 in his four overs. Liam Plunkett also chipped in with two scalps.

Stick around for the post-match presentations.
19.5 S Netravalkar to L Plunkett
W WICKET! CAUGHT! And that's curtains for San Francisco Unicorns! They are bowled out for a 103! Excellent comeback from Washington Freedom after the first innings! Back of a length delivery, outside the off stump, gets the edge to the keeper to end the match! 6th wicket for the Sensational Saurabh! Excellent display of skill from the left arm pacer!
Nortje drops it. Netravalkar has missed out on a hat-trick here.
19.4 S Netravalkar to Roux
1 DROPPED! But the victory is sealed, good length delivery, on the stumps, Roux flicks it straight to mid-wicket but Nortje can't hold on!
Carmi le Roux is the last man out to bat for the Unicorns.
Fourth catch for Glenn Phillips and Saurab Netravalkar has picked up a five-wicket haul here. Brilliant stuff from the pacer.
19.3 S Netravalkar to H Rauf
W WICKET! CAUGHT! Back to back wickets for the bowler! Over the wicket, length delivery, on the stumps, Rauf hoicks it high in the air and straight to the fielder at deep square! Netravalkar is on a hattrick for the second time in this match!
