So, that’s all the action from this encounter. The caravan will now move to Church Street Park in Morrisville where the remaining of the league stage would be contested. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. For now, this is Megh Mandaliya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Harsh Shukla and Prince Suman alongside our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Cheers!
Aaron Finch (San Francisco Unicorns Captain): "It's a great win. Right from the inning Wade got us to a great start, Stoinis going next and Corey in the end. They all batted aggressively.  I think we batted as per our plan and batted smartly. In the bowling also we stuck to our plans of bowling according to the batter. The boys stood up to the plans and nailed every bit of it. We want to continue the momentum of winning the games. The tournament is now going towards the crucial moment and  we thrive to continue our streak of winning the matches."
Sunil Narine( Knight Riders Captain): "We had a good start with the ball, but we subsequently allowed it to go away. We needed a strong start to our 200-run chase on this wicket, and we got it. Then, in the middle of the overs, we compromised. We could have had a greater chance of catching them if 170-180 was par. We were slightly strangled by the middle wickets. You still have to try to reset. You must devise tactics that, hopefully, will be successful. They are decent guys who care about doing things well. You will be able to tell how talented our team is when that occurs."
Matthew Wade (Player of the Match): "Yeah, I did mishit a few there. The breeze towards the shorter side helped me today. It was good batting with a few new faces. I have enjoyed it. It was really tough at the backend with those cutters but Andre Russell doesn't make it look hard work on many pitches. I think the wicket has been really good here and I have enjoyed my three games here. It's really good to come over here and see good cricket on good grounds. We are all pretty relaxed and starting to get some momentum in that batting unit. I feel Corey Anderson has been huge for us at the bottom of the order."
9:52 AM IST, 11:22 PM Local Time | Time for the presentation ceremony...
Corey Anderson: "I don't know if it was too much. Great start by the openers which gave us a good platform to come and express ourselves. The shorter boundaries are the target and hitting it in the gaps makes it easier for middle-lower order batters to bat on. The credit must go to Finch, I tried to owl him a short length and ask him to play on the longer side of the boundaries and I got lucky enough to get his wicket. Massive, great to have him(Harish Rauf) on our side. A guy like him can bowl with serious pace and at the same time can mix up with deliveries. It's always to great have bowlers like him. Yaa, looking forward to more games. A good win here but much more to come."
9:43 AM IST, 11:13 PM Local Time | The San Francisco Unicorns get back to winning ways despite a late blitz by Andre Russell. It was an all-round performance from the Aaron Finch-led side that has helped them overpower the Knight Riders by 21 runs. It was another disappointing batting performance from the Los Angeles Knight Riders. They have lost three games on the bounce and a play-off qualification for them is starting to look bleak now.

Chasing a mammoth total of 213, Jason Roy propelled the Knight Riders to a blistering start. The English opener exploited the field restrictions and batted with an aggressive approach. Unmukt Chand played the second fiddle to him and ensured the runs keep flowing at a brisk rate. Roy and Chand stitched a quick 55-run opening partnership before Haris Rauf outwitted the right-hander Roy with a slower delivery. Nonetheless, Roy’s belligerent innings of 45(21) set the tempo of the innings. San Francisco were able to stem the flow of runs following the departure of Roy.

The right-handed Chand succumbed to pressure and threw away his wicket at 20(17). Nitish Kumar 31(23) pushed the pedal again but departed in the acceleration process. The Knight Riders could never really recover from the early blows and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Shadab Khan bowled superbly in the middle overs and bagged two massive wickets of Rilee Rossouw 8(8) and Jaskaran Malhotra 7(8) to push the Knight Riders on the backfoot. They were suddenly reeling on 116/5 and the onus was upon the Caribbean duo of Andre Russell and Sunil Narine to resurrect the innings.

Andre Russell broke free in the 17th over and swatted Liam Plunkett for 21 runs. Sunil Narine also played the supporting role to him and dragged the game to the last over. Both Russell 42*(26) and Narine 28*(17) showcased their pyrotechnic abilities and added 75 runs for the 6th wicket but they were always behind the asking rate. Shadab was the pick of the bowlers for the Unicorns and finished his stint with the figures of 2/26.

Earlier in the day, after winning the flip and electing to bat first, the San Francisco Unicorns were off to a rollicking start. Spencer Johnson and Ali Khan did generate some extra bounce off the surface early in the innings and the left-right duo of Matthew Wade and Finn Allen negotiated that period cautiously before cutting loose. The onslaught was started in the penultimate over of the powerplay where Wade and Allen aggregated 21 runs before the Australian left-hander Wade teed off in the following over and walloped Ali Khan for 29 overs. The early pyrotechnics from the opening pair powered the Unicorns to 75/0 at the end of the powerplay.

Sunil Narine broke the 88-run opening partnership by removing Allen 20(19) but that did not cease the carnage. Marcus Stoinis joined his Australian counterpart and went all guns blazing straightaway. The right-handed Stoinis took on the spin of Zampa and swatted the right-arm leggie for 24 runs in the 9th over. That over included 3 maximums and 1 four. Both Wade and Stoinis were scoring with a strike rate above 200 for most of their partnership. They added 55 runs for the 2nd wicket before  Stoinis 37(18) holed out in the deep. That was soon followed by the departure of Wade 78(41) as Knight Riders attained two wickets in quick succession.

Los Angeles did dry up the boundaries after two wickets but Corey Anderson broke the shackles in the 18th over and once again gathered momentum for Unicorns. The left-handed Anderson played a breezy knock of 39(20) before Adam Zampa had the better of him. Zampa was the most successful bowler for Knight Riders and finished the stint with the figures of 3/41. Stick around for the post-match presentation!
