Bravo and then Mohsin bowled the difficult overs. Mohsin has got tricks and this rivalry between MI and Super Kings you know. I had the confidence in him and I like Mohsin as well. I love fielding and wants to put myself in the hotspot. DJ is a big help and we think alike and we bounce ideas off him. He is moving nicely and great to see him doing. Kieron Pollard (MI New York Captain): "It was a gettable total. We went through the plan in the dressing room how we want to go about it. Again we fell short. Sort of disappointment with the batting display by us. We haven't quite got it right with the bat this tournament even though we have got a couple of big scores.
Every time we tried to build partnerships we lost wickets. In the first 10 overs, this time we didn't lose wickets but we were behind in the run chase of 155 when the required rate is around 7.5 / 8 per over. Again something for us to look at.
Even when Tim David and Nicholas Pooran went in to bat today, they went in at a good time. Even myself, we just couldn't get the job done and that's what we need to do to get the job done.
Everyone is putting their hands up to bat higher so maybe next time all of us would be opening the batting."

Skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to bat first with Devon Conway scoring 74 in 55 balls to single handedly take them to a fighting total of 154/7 in 20 overs. In response Rusty Theron struck in the second over of the match to put MINY on the backfoot.
The bowlers bowled tremendously keeping the run rate in check. Shayan Jahangir top scored with 41 in 38 balls. Tim David (24 off 19) tried to keep the game alive but was dismissed by Daniel Sams in the final over when MINY needed 21 off six balls.
MINY were looking good in the chase with the score at 84/2 in the 13th over but they lost Nicholas Pooran to a run out and then Mohammad Mohsin (2/36) picked up Jahangir and skipper Kieron Pollard on consecutive deliveries to bring them back in the game.
Sams (2/15) was the pick of the bowlers and was tasked to bowl the first and final overs of the innings. Both his wickets fell on the first 2 balls of the last over in form of David and Kagiso Rabada.
