So, that's it from this game where Scotland has knocked West Indies out of the tournament. Do join us tomorrow for another Super 6 game between Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka from Bulawayo. Stick around to our network for all other cricketing actions across the globe across formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash alongside scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Richie Berrington (Scotland Captain): "We know the importance of the win and the boys were outstanding and got the early wickets to restrict them to the total. Then the way that partnership between Brandon and Matthew worked was great. Yes, we have great options and good to see everything working for us. Since Brandon has come in, he has had fantastic performances. Bowled 9 straight. He did a great job for us with the bat. Yes, should be a good game. Zimbabwe are playing well and we have to be at our best to win from here. Yes, we have had great results in the World Super League and there are certain players that make my job easier. The fans make my job easier and I hope long that this run may continue. Thank you so much."
Shai Hope (West Indies Captain): "To be honest, I cannot put a lay on one area. I mean the whole tournament was a disappointment. I think we have to look at areas and have to look at early morning movement. We were not good enough at all. The mindset is the key. We need to give a better effort and show better attitude. We were good in patches and not consistent enough. It starts with the foundation. The preparation needs to be better and we cannot expect rocket science. We need to find a way to bounce back and see where we go from here. The talent is there but we have to translate that into performances. Credit to Scotland. They deserved the win and they outplayed us. We have to go one way and that's up."
Brandon McMullen (Player of the Match): "I am not too sure. Ask the captain about it.  But good to get all the three wickets. I was thinking about going out there and playing good cricket. Awesome to see Cross back into form. I was chuffed with that one playing the shots and straight down the ground. I feel awesome to be here and to get the Player of the Match award. I thought I did my job well and got my reward."
7:14 PM IST, 3:44 PM Local Time: A historic day for Scotland Cricket as they comprehensively beat the West indies by 7 wickets with 6.3 overs to spare. They have outplayed their opponents in all facets of the game and as a result, the West Indies are knocked out of the tournament. The 2-time champions will not be able to qualify for the World Cup in India later this year.

Chasing a paltry 182 for the win, Scotland lost Chris McBride off the first ball of the innings as he went for a golden duck to Jason Holder. That was the only joy they had as Brandon McMullen joined Matthew Cross in the middle. Both of them put on 125 for the second wicket. Brandon McMullen scored 69 off 106 balls to go with 3 wickets with the ball he took. Matthew Cross carried his bat as he remained unbeaten on 74* off 107 balls. George Munsey chipped in with 18 off 33 balls while skipper Richard Berrington remained unbeaten on 13* off 14 balls as the victory was achieved in 43.3 overs. 11 extras were given by the fielding side.

West Indies had a low total to defend and had very little to show on the field and with the ball. A wicket apiece for Jason Holder, Romario Shepherd, and Akeal Hosein. They bowled economical spells but weren't able to get the breakthroughs.

Earlier in the game, West Indies put into bat first were off to a disastrous start as they lost wickets in intervals. Brandon King made 22 off 22 balls. Skipper Shai Hope made 13 off 16 balls. They were 30/4 at one stage and then 81/6 at one stage. Nicholas Pooran scored 21 off 43 balls as well. But the innings was rescued a little by the pair of Jason Holder and Romario Shepherd. Jason Holder scored 45 off 79 balls. Shepherd chipped in with 36 off 43 balls. Kevin Sinclair scored 10 off 24 balls but the innings fell away as they were bowled out for 181 in 43.5 overs. 17 extras were given by the fielding side.

All the Scotland bowlers bowled well. Brandon McMullen was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/32 in 9 overs. He was ably supported by Christopher Sole who bowled 9 overs for 43 runs and picked up 2 wickets. A couple of wickets apiece for Mark Watt, and Chris Greaves. A wicket for Safyaan Sharif as well. An all round bowling performance setting up the win for Scotland.

So, a win for Scotland by 7 wickets as they knock the West Indies out of the competition. Stick around for the presentations.
