I thought Tim David was fantastic. The way he batted, he took pressure off me. I played Test cricket recently and I couldn't hit sixes at the end. So I have to work on him.
Sangha was sensational. We have seen what he can do in the Big Bash and really stepped up. Wasn't playing yesterday. Zampa fell ill and Sangha got a chance and bowled brilliantly."

Aiden Markram (South Africa Captain): "Yes, the wicket played really well. Around 200 was gettable. We were outplayed in all three departments and we are playing after a long time. We were rusty today. Not an excuse, I am giving but we were good in patches but not good enough. We want to give chances and be competitive but we were not good enough at all to be honest. Let's hope we can put this behind us and come back strong in the next game on Friday."

This is Australia's biggest win over South Africa in T20Is. The tone was set by the batters by posting a mammoth total on the board before their bowlers backed it up by bowling beautifully and defending it successfully. With this, they take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
It was always going to be a tough task to chase 227 and South Africa didn’t have the best of starts as Temba Bavuma was cleaned up on a duck in the very first over by Marcus Stoinis. Rassie van der Dussen joined Reeza Hendricks and looked settled at the crease before falling on 21 as the Proteas finished powerplay on 53/2.
Hendricks looked good at the crease but he lacked support from the other end as debutant Tanveer Sangha spun a web around the South African batters in the middle overs. He dismissed Aiden Markram (7), Dewald Brevis (5) and Tristan Stubbs (0) in quick succession. Marco Jansen along with Hendricks tries to build a partnership but the former was cleaned up on 20.
