So, that's it from Qualifier 1 where Trinbago Knight Riders qualify for their 5th CPL final. The Guyana Amazon Warriors will have a second bite to the cherry when they face the defending champions Jamaica Tallawahs in Qualifier 2. We will have that for you on Saturday early morning. Do join us for that game and for all other cricketing actions across the globe, stick around to our network across formats.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal alongside scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Kieron Pollard (Trinbago Knight Riders Captain): "I think credit to the backroom staff for supporting us. I think we executed things well and played well. Don't want to single out anyone. The guys came out well and the intensity was right up there. We had to bat well. It was a gettable score and the way Chadwick used his opportunity was great to see. The support staff planned things and got the job done in the end. We haven't thought about it. We have reached there will celebrate and then think about what's going to happen on Sunday. The Guyana side are a good side and we are happy to beat them. Great support from the crowds everywhere. We tried to bring a smile to their face and glad we did that and now we are into the final now on Sunday. Looking forward to it."
Romario Shepherd(Guyana Amazon Warriors Stand-in Captain)- "They bowled well and I think we were 20 runs short. We could have defended 167 with the ball and our bowling efforts have been ordinary. Captain decided to remove Odean Smith from bowling and it was a team decision. We have to take more catches in the next game, dropping chances with 167 on board is not good. We need to step up and have a good total against Jamaica Tallawahs in the next game. We would look to post a good total."
Chadwick Walton(Player of the match)- "I would like to thank our coach and players for believing in me. It's been an emotional half century. I got no half century since the last season and thankful to my teammates that they gave me the opportunity. Feeling better to contribute in a big game. Hopefully we will do better in the final"
Player of the match- Chadwick Walton
8:01 AM IST, 10:31 PM Local Time: Chadwick Walton hits the winning runs and plays an amazing innings as Trinbago Knight Riders win this game by 7 wickets with 11 balls to spare and they qualify for the finals of CPL 2023. This will be their 5th CPL final overall. Guyana Amazon Warriors will live to fight for another day as they will now play Qualifier 2 against the Tallawahs. TKR outplayed their opponents and were better than them in all facets of the game.

Chasing a tricky 167 for the win, TKR rode on a magnificent innings from Chadwick Walton as the right-hander anchored the innings and carried his bat for his 80* off 57 balls. His opening partner Mark Deyal fell for 15. Nicholas Pooran supported Walton and scored 33 off 24 balls. Skipper Kieron Pollard chipped in with 23 off 15 balls and fell towards the end. Andre Russell came in and was unbeaten in the end. 15 extras given by the fielding side as the target was achieved in 18.1 overs.

It was one of those days for the Warriors where their bowling did not click tonight. A couple of wickets for Dwaine Pretorius while skipper Imran Tahir picked up the other wicket. The rest of the bowlers went for runs as Motie also had a rare off day today. They will look to bounce back in Qualifier 2.

Earlier in the game, TKR won the toss and elected to bowl first. Guyana Amazon Warriors lost Odean Smith for a pain staking 15 while Shai Hope fell cheaply tonight. Saim Ayub continued his good form and scored 49 off 39 balls. Azam Khan scored 36 off 27 balls. Dwaine Pretorius made 15 off 13 balls. Romario Shepherd scored a quickfire cameo of 16 off 6 balls and Gudakesh Motie was unbeaten on 19* off 8 balls. 12 extras given by the fielding side as the Warriors ended with 166/7 in 20 overs.

The bowlers of TKR bowled well and kept it under control. Waqar Salamkheil was the pick of them with figures of 2/28 in 4 overs. A couple of wickets for Terrance Hinds who bowled well. A wicket apeice for Akeal Hosein and Ali Khan as well. They did well in the middle overs to keep it tight and won the game in the end.

So, a win for TKR over Guyana Amazon Warriors by 7 wickets with 11 balls to spare and they are into the finals for the fifth time. Stick around for the presentations.
