Thank you all for tuning in. It was a game which went right down to the wire but in the end it was the "Spice-Man" who came out on top with an innings worth savoring for the Kitts.

Here's hoping for more such knocks and drama as we push further into the CPL. Until then, this is Wali, Soumarya and Paras singing off!
Evin Lewis (Captain of St Kitts and Nevis Patriots): " It feels very good to be honest as we were trying to get it. The bowlers executed their plans well and restricted them. Nedd bowled very well in the powerplay and got us the key wickets. Fletcher was struggling a bit but he is a tough guy and he got the job done in the end. I'm very happy with this win and hopefully we will finish off on a high. I'm trying to do everything that I possibly need to do and will hopefully end with a big score."
Sikandar Raza (Captain of St Lucia Kings): "10 overs belonged to them, we recovered well but in the final two overs they impressed once again. Khary Pierre has done really well, he didn't start because of the combinations we wanted, now he's comeback and done really well. Be it coming early on in the innings or in the middle in the innings, he's done really well. The wind plays a big factor, we wanted Fletcher to hit towards the longer region of the boundary against the spinners, which is why Chase was brought in."
Player of the Match: Andre Fletcher for his knock of 93 (64)*
23:06 IST - So that’s that and it’s the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots who have finally registered their first win of the CPL this season by four wickets courtesy the excellence of Andre Fletcher.

Bowling first, the Saint Lucia Kings were restricted to 149/7 from 20 overs of play.
It was Ashmead Nedd who set the tone for the Kitts as he bagged two quick wickets to dismiss Colin Munro 10 (10)  and Roston Chase 0 (2). Sean Williams 1 (7) had to walk back after being run out by Jyd Goolie as the Kings were in a spot of bother with the score reading 22/3 from five overs.

That’s when Johnson Charles 42 (38) and Shadrack Descartes 43 (31) strung a valuable 73 run partnership to restore stability in the innings. Sikandar Raza’s cameo of 22 (17) also assisted the Kings to get to a target worth fighting for.

For St Kitts, it was Ashmead Nedd who stood out courtesy his stellar spell of 2/14 from four overs. Benny Howell also chipped in with a spell of 2/31, whereas, Corbin Bosch and Oshane Thomas picked a wicket apiece.

As for the run chase, it started in an unideal manner for the Kitts as they lost their skipper Evin Lewis 1 (4) with Roston Chase getting him out caught and bowled. Will Smeed 2 (5) and Jyd Goolie were left bamboozled by Khary Pierre’s flight and bounce as they both got stumped by the keeper in quick intervals.

That being said, it was Andre Fletcher 93 (64)* who was at his absolute best and stayed there till the very end to get his side over the line. The ‘Spice-Man’ struck six fours and five sixes while batting at a strike rate of 145.31.

The Saint Lucia Kings skipper Sikandar Raza did add the pressure back to an extent as he got the better of Sherfane Rutherford 17 (16) and George Linde 9 (10).

What led to more drama was when Fletcher pulled a muscle while running for two in the final few overs of the game. This led to him hobbling in the middle of the wicket and not contesting for anything more than a single.

Alzarri Joseph’s sensational penultimate over of just one run piled immense pressure on the Kits. With Roston Chase bowling the final over, it was Corbin Bosch 12 (12) who departed next after getting caught at deep mid-wicket. With then six runs required of two balls, Andre Fletcher pulled the ball with just one hand just over the fielder’s head at mid-wicket to fetch his side their first ever win this season which led to a lot of relief in their camp.

As for the Kings, they will be pleased with the character they displayed in the second innings after taking the game to the final over. Khary Pierre impressed early on with his spell for 2/18, Sikandar Raza and Roston Chase also chipped in with two wickets apiece.

19.5 R Chase to A Fletcher
6 SIX! Goodness me! This is unbelievable drama! The spice man prevails in the end and he wins the game with a SIX! It was a  length ball on leg stump and he threw the kitchen sink at it. He hit it into the wind and it went flat towards the deep mid wicket boundary. Williams tried hard to pull it back but in vain. The St Kitts and Nevis Patriot win by 4 wickets with one ball to spare.
19.4 R Chase to D Drakes
1 Bowls it wide outside the off stump and it was away from the hitting arc of Drakes. He swung it away into the on side. Only a single.

19.3 R Chase to C Bosch
W OUT! Chase gets Bosch! He tossed it up and lured the batter with the bait. Bosch hit it into the wind and it was the larger side of the ground. Williams took the catch there at deep mid wicket and it's a massive wicket for Chase and the Kings.
19.2 R Chase to A Fletcher
1 Short and Fletcher goes hard at it. He carves it to long on for a single.
19.1 R Chase to C Bosch
1 Chase follows Bosch as he ran down the wicket. He bowled it at his pads and Bosch worked it into the on side for a single.
