Milestone
That's it from this game of CPL 2023. We will be back with more cricketing actions from across the world in our network across formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal alongside scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Kieron Pollard(Trinbago Knight Riders captain):- "Obviously a very satisfying victory. We expected Fletcher to go hard and we expected to get two wickets. We are happy the way we bowled. Bowlers worked hard really well. I think we have given away some runs. We want to continue to win the match and we will try to play the best as per our abilities.

I am satisfied the way we approached even after losing wickets. I tried to capitalise and when you have wickets in this ground, you can do a lot. Naveed bowled well but I got to hit on the shorter side of the ground. I told players to speak about everything, no matter wo they are.

Our players have been fantastic. Even after yesterday's loss we stayed positive. We have to relish the challenges from here on. We have the opportunity to rise above the teams with the confidence we got."
Sherfane Rutherford (St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots Captain): "Yes, the knock was satisfying. Took the game deep and finished it well. We lost a few wickets at regular intervals and we did not get to a good total. Another loss and we have to come back stronger. We were short and we needed more runs against TKR. The pitch is good and it's all about looking at the mirror and coming back. We tried our best in the batting department and bowlers got to improve as well. Few experienced guys are there. We can turn it around. Nothing is guaranteed and hope we lift ourselves and come back stronger in the last 4 games. Hope to turn it around."
Nicholas Pooran (Player of the Match): "Yes, first of all thanks to Jesus. Happy to get the two points and good to see that we are executing our plans.  Hard work is the key here as I have been working hard for the last two years. Enjoying batting and good space. Want to contribute everywhere whether for West Indies and for franchises cricket. Lorcan is talented and we are happy he is contributing. ILT20 we saw him and he is talented. DJ for sure is talented and playing like 29. He is playing and is a legend and special for us. For sure, thanks to the fans and happy to get the victory for the fans. They deserve this win. Happy to win today."
08:05 IST and 22:35 Local Time | Saptak:- Chasing 178, Trinbago Knight Riders were not off to a good start as they lost Chadwick Walton and Martin Guptill early.

But sending Nicholas Pooran up the order worked for them as he smashed a few boundaries to keep the scoreboard going in the powerplay. Pooran completed a good fifty in just 27 balls to ensure his team was in a good position. His partner Lorcan Tucker was much responsible through his stay. Before losing his wicket to Corbin Bosch, he managed to score 31 ball 36.

Kieron Pollard, the captain came to the crease and when he got short deliveries from Naveed, he smacked four sixes in an over to score 28 from it and that's where the game changed. He was partnered well by Andre Russell. Russell scored 8 ball 23 before Pollard went for an enthralling six to seal the game for his team with 17 balls to spare. Pollard remained not out on 37 off just 16 balls.

Earlier batting first, it was Rovman Powell's brilliance that drove St Kitts & Nevis Patriots to 178. He scored 62 firmly and was well accompanied by Corbin Bosch for his 30. Andre Fletcher scored a good 32.

In the end, Trinbago Knight Riders clinched an easy win over their esteemed opponent and the win was much needed from their point of view.

Stick around for the presentation ceremony.
Thats the game!!

6 SIX! That's it!  Short of a length into the pitch, Pollard picks it up and pulls it away over square leg as the ball sails into the stands for the maximum to end the game. Pollard finishes things off in style as TKR wins this by 6 wickets with 17 balls to spare.
Just one hit away TKR are. They have 18 legal deliveries in hand. Dominic Drakes for the 18th.
