Time to wrap up our coverage as well. It was a last-ball thriller and Tymal Mills held his nerves and helped Southern Brave register their first win of the season.

For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Hitesh Peddurwar and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. CHEERS!
Chris Jordan(Player of the Match): "I was trying to run quick singles and doubles, in the process and I hurt my calf. The plan was just to take the game deep, we thought that even if we go with running a ball we would get to 120. I just went on the roll and good to score some runs for my team.

The crowd here is amazing, once they got going I tried to keep entertaining them.  I was trying to help my team out, the boys bowled really well, and  really proud of the boys. So far, it's been just two games but the trust in the dressing game is too good, that some or the other guy will step up and take our team over the line."

1:50 AM IST, 9:20 PM Local Time | Deepak: Phew, what a game of cricket we have had here in Southampton. The pendulum swung to and fro and finally rested in favor of Southern Brave. A sensational final set from Tymal Mills has helped Southern Brave grab their first points of the season.

Earlier after being invited to bat first, Southern Brave posted 147/8 in their 100-ball quota. Southern Brave got off to a shaky start and lost a flurry of wickets at the beginning of the innings as they were reeling at 76/8 at the end of 76 balls. Chris Jordan turned the tide of the game single-handedly as the right-hander swatted the bowlers all around the park and scored a blistering 70* off 32 balls, helping his side post a formidable 147 runs. Haris Rauf shone with the ball for Welsh Fire, as the Pakistani speedster scalped three wickets for 27 runs in 20 balls.

In pursuit of Brave’s 147 runs, Welsh Fire lost Joe Clarke for a golden duck. Luke Wells and Stephen Eskinazi started scoring at a brisk pace in the powerplay but their progress was halted by Rehan Ahmed, who trapped Luke Wells for 24 runs and ceased the 41-run partnership. Eskinazi, too, fell prey to Rehan and departed after scoring 31 runs off 18 balls.

Skipper Tom Abell failed to make an impact with the bat and departed for 11 runs off 14 balls. Glenn Phillips and David Willey tried to score runs in the middle, but they failed to hit boundaries and runs dried up in the middle. Phillips departed for 22 runs off 19 balls, leaving his side in a precarious situation.

Willey paired up with Ben Green and the former smashed a few boundaries and turned the tide of the game and reduced the equation to 24 runs off 10 balls. Green joined the party and smashed Craig Overton for consecutive boundaries in the penultimate set but holed out in the deep in the third ball of the penultimate set. Welsh Fire needed 11 runs in the final set but Tymal Mills held his nerve and helped Southern Brave win this last-ball thriller by a mere margin of 2 runs. Willey (31 off 19) batted till the last ball but failed to chase down this total and departed in the final ball of the innings.

On the bowling front, Craig Overton, Tymal Mills, and Rehan Ahmed contributed a couple of wickets for Southern Brave, while George Garton celebrated a solitary wicket.

W In the air and taken!!! Tymal Mills does it for the Southern Brave!!! Southern Brave have won this game by 2 runs. Back of the length delivery outside the off-stump line, Willey clears his front leg and swings his bat hard at it, he tries to heave it on the leg side but ends up getting it on the outer half of the at. The ball just sails high up in the air, and the man at point region takes a well-judged catch. Willey was too close to take his team over the line but fails to do it as in the end, Tymal Mills is the man who wins the battle.
3 needed in the final ball. We don't have any super-set or super-ball facility in this match. A tied game is a tied game.
99b T Mills to D Willey
2 Back of the length delivery on the leg stump line, Willey goes for a pick-up shot. He pulls it towards the deep backward square leg region, the ball sails up in the air and falls short of the ropes. The batters scamper two more runs. This game is going all down to the wire.
Good running between the wickets and Willey is still on the strike. 5 needed off 2 balls now.
98b T Mills to D Willey
2 Willey collects another brace. Good length delivery outside the off-stump line, Willey goes deep in his crease and slaps it towards the left of the man at deep covers. Excellent running between the wickets by this duo.
7 needed in last 3 balls. One big hit is needed here. The onus will be on Willey to smash a boundary here and release the pressure.
97b T Mills to D Willey
2 Slower delivery on the good length on the leg stump line, Willey tucks it towards the deep backward square leg region and collects a brace.
Woah, a brilliant fielding in the deep and he saves a couple of runs here. The substitute fielder Alex Davies covers the good ground in the deep and puts a full-length dive here to save a couple of runs.
96b T Mills to D Willey
2 Over the wicket. Good length delivery angling into the batter, Willey clears his front leg and pulls it towards the deep mid-wicket region, the fielder in the deep puts in the full length dive towards his left and saves two runs for his team, magnificent effort by the man there.
Welsh Fire need 11 runs off the last 5 balls. Tymal Mills will bowl the final set.
