9:18 PM IST | Prince: Comilla Victorians thumped the Chattogram Challengers by 6 wickets with 15 balls to spare to register their first victory of the season.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Chattogram Challengers managed to score 135 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Usman Khan and Max O'Dowd start the innings for Chattogram Challengers. They started slow in the powerplay and posted 45 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the powerplay. Skipper (37* off 23) played a swashbuckling inning in the end overs for his team while M O’Dowd scored 24 off 24 and A Hossein( 29 off 21). These scores helped Chattogram Challengers to score 135 runs. On the flip side, T Islam, M Hossain, and K Shah chipped in with a couple of wickets while M Islam extracted one wicket.

While chasing a small target of 136 runs, Comilla Victorians started well in the powerplay as they posted 56 for the loss of 1 wicket in the powerplay. A sensible inning by Rizwan (37* off 35 balls). Rizwan and Litton Das played some big short in power play. After the loss of Litton das (40 off 22), I Kayes (15 off 13) and Rizwan built a partnership then at the end K shah finished the game with a boundary. On the flip side, M Pushpakumara scalped 2 wickets while M Chowdhury and Z Rahman extracted a solitary wicket each.

It’s the first victory for Comilla Victorians, and they will look to carry the momentum in the upcoming matches. Chattogram Challengers need to regroup and come back stronger in the upcoming matches.
